Can you give me the gist of the plot??? The synopsis here on MDL is so vague and quite don't make sense at all…
Yea, the plot they have up there is very off and confusing. Unless their changing the whole novel, which would be horrible. Here is a better summary its a bit more detailed and I'll explain the world a bit to because that is very important too and try not to spoil too much.
The FL comes from the mortal world and is a princess she is treated horribly by the new emperor and empress and their family that took over her kingdom. The current king and his family treated her horribly. When she is out one day she met a cultivator from another world but didn't know he was a cultivator, and she did him a favor so he took her from her world to the world of the cultivators. Her Shifu (the cultivator she met) has horrible luck in money but great luck in picking out students, and she is his last student. All of his other students are males. Everyone dotes on her in as in her teacher and fellow shixiong under her shifu. The FL has a best to say simple/innocent but honest personality, she is sweet and caring, and is extremely lucky.
Now the world that is built in this novel there are many sects, and many sects with different relationships with each other and supporting each other, I feel thats kind of important in the novel. Even the ranking of the top ten sects. Also how each sect raises their students and how their personalities develop form that is really important, but also makes this story funny. Another things thats really important from the novel is the different type of spirit bases people have for cultivation. Due to her luck she has the rare spirit base, very rare.
Getting back to the overall story her sect is an easy going sect to summarize. After being there so many years , when she turns 16 she decides its time to descend the mountain and go on a journey to learn more and increase her cultivation. She has also read stories written by this author that has influenced the way she see certain things but she still has that innocent type personality. During her journey she meets the ML who is cold personality and he is like 300 and something years old. Thats not completely his fault the sect he comes from and the way they train their people become very cold almost like stone personality like. There is more to the ML but I wont say more than that. The FL has no inner demon but the ML does he has a bad internal injury. There is a cure but the ingredients are very rare and hard to find. The two start journeying together, just really funny because of their personalities and their thoughts. What makes it funny is when their sects realize their traveling together and freak out in a good way. Mainly about their journey and the relationship that develops between them. They do deal with evil sects and they come from another world to hunt cultivators in the cultivation world. They do battle so evil cultivators but its mainly about their journey and how they grow and change. The story is really sweet and funny, I highly recommend reading the novel. I couldn't put it down.
