The mains are NingQue and SangSang, all the rest are there for the giggles. Pay some attention - not too much…
I don't like LongQing, I know that he is not villain, but he acts exactly like paladin and I hate all paladins. :) They think, that they are lawful good and do all for greater good, but in reality they are all evil. And what I hate the most are lawful evil characters (I played RPG games too much) :D So I don't care what his story is, he can just die.
Now I am at ep. 45 and things became more clear, but also more dark and I don't like Ning Que anymore. After he came home from wasteland, he just ordered Sang Sang to make him food instead of hugging her happily. And acted too cold. She happily waited for him and he acted like a jerk.
And then I watched the ending and didn't like it too. I know that Sang Sang will survive, because she is in S2, but I don't like such ending. Ning Que's actor in S2 is different and looks like younger copy of 2nd. brother. It looks weird, so I will not watch S2. That is also why I would like S1's ending to be better, not such cliffhanger - or at least not for Sang Sang.
I will finish it, but next episodes will be harder to watch for me. I liked it until now. The music, sceneries and fights were great, but I also like Sang Sang and it hurts me to see her suffer. But I am not in Sang Sang's party, I also like Mo Shan Shan. Best if they both became friends, left Ning Que to his fights and lived happily somewhere else. XD
I like it, but I am in its half and still don't know who is who. Main story is too slow with so many side characters, who want to have some screen time. It would be better if it is more focused on main characters only.
It is so cute drama, even 20 minutes per episode would not be much - 2 minutes are insane. I would love to see both FLs in some full time GL drama or movie.
That was great comedy. I hated that mother too as first, but without her it couldn't be so funny and some mains would not even meet, so it was good, that she was there. I watched it for its GL part, but both couples were amazing and funny.
First part was nice, but I was lost in all those game scenes. It felt like an advertisement for the online game.Aerospace part was mostly boring for me, but then it was beautiful. Overall it was very nice drama, good for relaxation.
Each episode has some additional info to the main episodes. So you can watch 1st. episode of main show and 1st…
Oh, I see... then try Oh! My boss! - Koi wa tsuzuku was imho better, but I liked that one too. I hope, that she can have more of romance dramas in future.
what's the best way to watch these? i haven't watched either shows. do i watch the spinoff after the main show?
Each episode has some additional info to the main episodes. So you can watch 1st. episode of main show and 1st of mada mada, etc.. Or you can watch this after you complete the main show. It is up to you. :)
Can anyone explain to me how could Yun He suddenly turn into 9-tailed fox on that cliff? It looked like script writers just wanted to do something cool and so they turned her to Bai Feng Jiu (Dilraba's role in Eternal Love). Where that form came from? Why wasn't she able to use it earlier?
Great article...When I was newbie, the first korean words that I learnt were Annyeonghaseyo and Saranghae and also Kamsahamnida, but my favourite actor was not Lee Min Ho, but actress Chae Soo Bin. :)
Now I am a combination of Asian Wannabe and Multifan with few top favourites and some less favourites. But as Asian Wannabe I am more focused on Japan, then korean and also a bit on China (at least in the use of words).
Sadly the slice of life genre of cdrama almost always got less than 8, that's what I see here 😐
It can be the case. People were expecting something else and so they rated it lower. When it finishes airing and after some time, it can get higher if it is good, but now it is low. MDL rating was always subjective and unfair. Where rating 7.8 for kdrama is bad, for jdrama it is very good. Low rating doesn't mean that it is bad drama. It just means, that people were expecting something else.I loved Wan Peng's Love like White Jade and it also has low rating (7.7).
Some interesting moments (the scene with Ga Ryeong tied to the pole was pretty spectacular), but why was this…
I watched it in my made half time long version - I love Chae Soo Bin, but dislike joseon kings, so I mostly skipped those parts and also all evil parts. The result was nice historical romcom. :) The whole drama was very well made and well acted, but I watched it only for CSB. I wanted to be objective and so my rating is 9, but I would not not be able to watch it without skipping many parts.
I must agree, that it was too childish drama. Romance could be great, it the main focus was on it and their campus life.Or it could be good crime drama if there would be no romance. But they mixed these two genres together and it was childish with many illogical and stupid decisions. Why they had classes of ju-jitsu or judo if they then don't use it in fights? I think that it had higher potential. Cast and acting was good, but it could be written better. 8.5/10 for me.
I read this comment before watching the show and was really curious on how something like this could happen when…
I didn't stop watching it, I just didn't care about leads. I don't remember it now anymore, but it was probably a drama that was just normal. Not annoying enough to drop it and not good enough to love it. In that case, every little thing could upset that balance. It was likable, but not that much that I would forgive it anything.
What to say to it... everyone has different point of view, otherwise we would be all the same. So I just saw that situation differently than you.
To like a show, I need to really like some character, usually FL. Here I didn't like her much.I can watch many other shows, especially those with my favourite actresses (e.g. Wan Peng, Xing Fei, Wu Xuan Yi or others from other countries - Chae Soo Bin, Fukada Kyouko...).
