Thanks for your info about Marc Chao. I will definitely look into his movies that you recommended. Marc Chao acted the first 3 episodes in Midnight Foodstore. To me, that was the best part of the entire drama.
I don't really like watching dramas during this time period. However, I completed this drama raw because of Janine. I liked the overall romance part of the drama and Janine's character is very inspiring. The ending few minutes is a little too rush for me and could be better. I don't want to reveal too much about the drama but don't expect too much. After all, this happened during the war time. Overall, this drama is worth watching.
This is definitely not a way to end a drama. I hope that the rumor of a sequel is true.
I couldn't agree with you more. My jaw dropped. I couldn't believe that watch the last episode. I kept on searching YouTube for more. I thought maybe there's an episode typo or something like that. But, that is all. The End.
Just completed. Cried a lot but...
Love the story so far. Can't wait to watch Season 3 and 4. I wonder what direction and adventure the drama is going to take us?
Just finished watching Season 1 and watching Season 2. This drama is very entertaining. I was skeptical at first after watching episode 1 because it has a "crazy" mixed of everything. Don't let episode 1 turn you away from this drama. Great story line so far.
I have watched both Korean and this Chinese versions. Both are identical, story wise. No variation. The Korean drama is only 16 episodes whereas the Chinese drama is 40 episodes. You might be afraid that the Chinese version will be a drag but overall, it is an enjoyable experience. In my opinion, Dilmurat Dilraba did a better job performing this character than Hwang Jung Eum in the Korean version. Both Zhang Vin and Choi Shi Won did an outstanding performance acting Lin Yi Mu/Kim Shin Hyeok character. I think, this is the most memorable part of the drama.
This movie is not exactly a time travel movie like the drama that shares the same name. Liang Xia's stays in the same year. It is more like a selective memory loss from 18-28 years old when she takes the chocolate.
The above states that this movie is related to the drama remake. Apart from them sharing the same title, the content of both stories are not exactly the same except for the chocolate. Both stories are good and interesting.
