In both drama the main characters share the same profession. Moreover in both drama the themes of life and death are prevalent.
In both drama you see the characters' growth through a very realistic perspective. You may not agree or be satisfied with how things are handled especially towards the endings but you have to admire the realism.
I find them similar mostly over how natural the romance and the relationships were acted out and presented.
