I don't want another Iron Man type ending, it's not an ending if the protagonist dies. That's just lazy writing to make the ending more memorable. I'm still not over iron man's death even after 4 years. They better not kill Kim Sabu, I swear I won't get over it untill I die.

Not exactly, but you'll miss some great things and you won't probably understand some characters awesome back stories. But it won't matter , you'll be able to understand the storyline very well. But you may need to do some researches in some occasions.
