Yes, she was in her character. It's just that it's too reckless. Imagine if it goes other way. Her recklessness was really dangerous at that time. Still FCY is the most likable FL ever. But I watched plenty of war and wuxia series. So I just can't accept this. I just feel that this incident is there because they want to develop her character.

We haven't gone to that part yet. Info about their parents are less. We just know that her father worked for a prime minister and more likely the one who thought martial arts to our ML. Also the heirloom is likely made up by their parents or else it would have been the original Fan families heirloom. I don't think her mom works for a palace thou!
