I loved The Wolf and Joy of Life that you mentioned. The Wolf is my fave. The Untamed and Nirvana in Fire are 2nd and 3rd. I'll mention some that are excellent that others haven't mentioned... Marvelous Woman is amazing if you haven't seen that one. The Rebel Princess too. There are so many I could list. I am in love with all of them.

It is such a good drama. Ethan Juan and Song Zu Er were great choices for their roles. I'm on ep 18 now and to see her growth after only one month of studying with her mentor is awesome.

This drama is so cool. I tried one and I can't keep watching it. It is great to see Ethan and the rest of the cast is great too (especially seeing Marius again ^^). Watching the cooking and the competition makes it so interesting to me.

Wow. Pain. I've never cried so hard in my life at an ending. I loved this show, but I'm avoiding depressing ends…
I hear you on depressing endings. Luckily this one was not. I loved the end scene after the credits roll. JFM looks wonderful and very alive. ^^

It's an open ending. So it depends on how you take it. FJM and HS are still alive at the end.
It was a happy ending to me. Just make sure to watch after the ending credits roll.
