I think when he found out his real identity + then finding his dad's tomb + the accident.. he grieved for himself and his family. I dont think he had anymore feelins to spare to Shen Yi for lying to him all this time and causing him to miss out on what he couldve had. The drugging couldve made him realize he was being manipulated all this time and wat happened afterwords just sealed it for him.
While he was not expecting Shen Yi to just yeet himself off the roof.. we know Shen Ye was indeed at a lost for a bit. Despite all that happened Shen Yi did raise him and took care of him. He really wanted Shen Yi to turn himself in and got the opposite. That mustve been a blow to him that despite all the pretty words Shen Yi was a selfish coward and a manipulator.
