omg sorry for the late reply but it depends in my opinion I think it's worth it. If you didn't like the first couple of episodes then you probably won't like the rest of the drama.
I'm only on episode 7 but ✨Minor spoiler✨....I can't believe she took a flight just to see if he had a girlfriend or not💀🤣 AND didn't tell anyone that she left omg had her parents and brother looking for her she's so bold for that lol.

I've just started watching Hidden Love and I like it so far. I've heard nothing but good things about it and so far it's really good.
I was hesitant to start Story Of Ming Lan too bc of the amount of episodes but it was definitely worth it even the side characters are interesting and an important part of the story. I don't think I've ever seen a FL this smart before in a C-drama. The way she plots and plans honestly her alone makes it worth watching imo lol. Both the ML and FL are strong and smart in their own way... but when they finally come together they're a power couple. I will say though it does a lot of story building in the beginning and it starts off with them as children so you get to see their life before they actually get together.

I like some of Zhao Lusi's dramas this one was just a miss for me. Romance of Tiger and Rose and Love like The Galaxy are my favorites by her I plan on watching Hidden Love soon there's so much hype around this one. I've seen so many spoilers but I'll still watch it from what I've seen so far it seems interesting. Also I agree she does get the best leading men lol.
Since you like Leo Wu in Love Like the galaxy and Nirvana In Fire If you haven't seen it already I think you'd love him in The Long Ballad such a good drama + he's the ML. Now that I think about it Zhao Lusi is also in this drama but she's not the FL.
Currently I'm watching The Story Of Ming Lan this one is just soo good I'm obsessed it's such a long drama but worth it I'm nearly done with just 5 episodes left. After this I'm definitely starting something lighter like Hidden Love.

Yeah I did the same thing when I was first watching and even though I skipped around I was still able to understand what was happening. Also with the way the story was going it wasn't worth fully watching each episode in my opinion lol.
ngl I thought I would like this one but I didn't it was okay up until episode 15 or 16 then I started to fast forward. It wasn't terrible though.. just not great.
I loved this drama! honestly didn't expect to like it this much based on the description I thought it wouldn't be that great but oh it is lol. The acting, music, story everything was so good. I'd definitely rewatch 10/10. It never became boring or draggy it was always interesting at least to me it was. ALSO the leads chemistry?? Amazing they didn't disappoint🤗

I'm not a fan of sad endings at all and I went into it knowing the ending but I decided to watch anyway and I don't regret it. It wasn't slow or boring each episode left you wanting to watch more. The way I knew what was going to happen at the end but still cried anyway😭 the chemistry between the leads was soo good I liked that it had a good amount of romance and mystery it was a perfect balance IMO. Idk if I'll ever watch this again just bc of how sad it was (99% of dramas I've watched are happily ever after idk what made me watch this LOL) I enjoyed it though so 10/10 for me.
