Why is Qing Feng's jacket on fire at various points in the story? Is he burning with jealously? His character is changing? Please help.

Can we also appreciate that there was no next morning backtracking?

Ha! This is exactly what I came on here to write! I am loving the couple energy and the fact that there wasn't any next morning backtracking. The rest is insanely ridiculous yet I cannot stop watching. My eyes might pop out from all the eye rolling but I'm ok with that!!

it was an international cake competition and he got the first runner up position, wouldn't that be a huge accomplishment for him and the company?!? Sky would be getting job offers all over the place and people would be wondering who Ace of Cakes is as a company. I am confused as to why everyone is so pissed. Also, does the winner get money and the rest get nothing? Usually, there is some kind of prize for the runner ups.
Also, I loved the last episode, even teared up a little, but this one is a hot mess. Are they a couple now? Sure looked like it till the preview for the next episode. Why do we even care about the bully guys? Do they really play into the story at all? I want to like this show, I really do but I am having a hard time.

In Thai culture, they don't show public displays of affection as we do in the west. Kissing is private so in public, they do a sniff kiss. This is a way to take in the smell, or essence of the person they care about. I find it endearing.

I am hoping that in the next episode we get rid of the horrible girlfriend. I like the story more as the show goes on. The acting is meh though but I get a good laugh each episode so I will keep watching!

"Aaaaaaand there she goes." is what I say every time she starts to fall...again! I am loving how cute this show is but the falling is getting a bit excessive. (eye roll)

I have a drama pet peeve. It is when anyone, but usually the female lead, says that she is going home or going to get something to eat and the guy says he will take her. She politely says she can do it on her own and he proceeds to not listen to her. He usually wrist grabs her and makes her uncomfortable in the process. Lu Yan Zhi does this in almost every episode. It drives me nuts. GO AWAY!!!

There has got to be some character development for the Ace character or I am out. He is a straight-up jerk! He does nothing and yells at everyone. He walks into a scene, yells and berates, then leaves. I am truly hoping the character gets better because this drama has a lot of potential storywise. Acting? I am not so sure but I will watch more before I decide.

There was more emotion packed into these 8 episodes then some dramas have in 20+ episodes!! Loved it!! I will definitely rewatch.

This is extended to 22 episodes and The Roommate is dropped to 4? Why? There is no story, as far as I can tell, to this ad. That is the vibe this gives off to me, a really long advertisement. Give me less cooking and more Roommate!!

I am having a hard time liking Lu Yan Zhi. He is like that annoying person that pops up everywhere when you least expect it. Every time he is on the screen I find myself rolling my eyes and saying "not again". I understand he is second lead and this is his lot in life as the second lead but ugg...he is annoying.
I also don't understand the negativity of the comments about this show. I find it very well made, the acting is great, and honestly the dubbing doesn't get to me because most of the time I have to read the subtitles rather than look at their mouths. It is their own voices so I don't really see where the problem is. The age gap doesn't bother me. It doesn't affect their chemistry, which I think they have in abundance, and the actors don't seem bothered by is so I am not bothered by it.
Great show. Will keep watching!

I loved this show. I have rewatched this show. I liked the chemistry between the 3 main leads. I loved the way they worked the cases. I did not find the FL annoying. She played the spoiled but wants to be independent rich girl very well. This show is now on my rewatch every once in a while list. I gave it 10 /10 because I can't find anything to rag on it about.

For all of its cheesiness, I really liked this show. I am a sucker for men crying and the two that cry in this are on point. I love Lu Yi Chang's voice. This was just a cute drama with nothing too heavy. Loved it.

I agree. I went back after it had all aired and watched it. The plot was horrible and I was confused most of the time but the acting was good. I love MarkVee and agree with you that they need their own series.
