For me, it is a GOOD drama. Very entertaining and refreshing to a drama viewer who has been here for ages. (Well, I haven't seen all but pretty much watched kdrama for a long time). The good thing about DOTS is it defies a lot of kdrama must-haves/cliches that's why it is very refreshing...both visuals and story. No secret births, amnesia, nobody betrayed their own, the main leads had no childhood linkages, nobody got hit by the white truck thus might die and/or got amnesia, no love triangle or square, no backhug, no piggyback and the list goes on. ^^
But what I really love is how the writer/director showed the life of a soldier and a doctor are in parallel and in contrast as well. ^^

I'd probably rewatch this because I'm not in agreement with most of the reviews. It's not bad but I'm definitely missing something that I can't point my finger at...anyway the girl who played Eun Sang is definitely the best child actress.

Yay! Ok Chae Ryung's lipstick is enough reason to continue watching this...so love the color! Lol! :D
Kidding aside, I'm not really sure why I'm drawn to this. I don't even know the main leads (I mean I'm not familiar with them) I'm sticking with this makjangy feel drama.

Btw, I love Bolin Chen's get up like that of Capt. Yoo Si Jin...the gray top and white pants. Where can I get that top? I'm so in love with that gray shirt. :D

im a bit half and half on this, im on episode 8, im not hooked and it doesnt have my attention for the whole episode...…
The reason I temporarily 'dropped' this was it couldn't hold my attention. Honestly, I started watching this the same time along with DOTS but I really can't get past Episode 1... but I'm seriously considering this after my DOTS fever cool down a bit. :D Fighting!

I love how the drama paid tribute to the soldiers and doctors of the world. No matter how many haters this drama would get, I still think this is GOOD. If only for the visuals, backdrop and actors, lead and supporting characters, funny, witty and cheesy lines all mixed up in the drama and action-packed scenes plus the OST inserted here and there...Yeah, it is GOOD. ^^

“Go easy, avoid hard work and all will be well” -Captain Yoo

“You might not win but you can get even by… turning the rumor into a fact” ^^ -Seo Dae Young

“You should never believe anything without checking it yourself with your own eyes” -Kang Mo Yeon

“If you ruin the wedding (of your ex-gf) your way, the woman will be glad she got rid of you. But if you take me (to the wedding), she’ll regret all night long” -Yoon Myeong Joo

Haha! It's just his right thumb that like a sponge absorbs all the gunshots aimed at him. Captain Yoo beats Captain America! Lol!^^

Question in mind has been answered by Episode 15. ^^ I was really curious how did Captain Yoo and Seo Dae Young…
Yup...it was from Kang Dong Won's movie. I've been wanting to see that movie since their making a lot of parody for that scene.

Me too...coz I have this nagging feeling that Seo Dae Young didn't make it...but I hope this is just me and not on the scriptwriter's head all along.

Can I have feedbacks from people that have seen a LOT of dramas to tell me if its good or just ok ? I'm not a…
I think it depends on your current mood/state right now. But what sets this apart from your regular kdrama is the refreshing vibe of the story, the actors are equally refreshing as the backdrop (even the supporting characters) and the funny lines and witty remarks will get you through. Of course, plus the overload of OST that gives the drama its fair share of fame. ^^

Way better than the trash that Descendants of the Sun is.
In drama watching... your trash could be other people's treasure. Vice versa. ^^

I have so much love for this drama. It may lack a little of something of this and that but entertainment-wise, it served its purpose. This would be like my new go-to kdrama whenever I'm feeling stressed, sad or just PMS-ing. Lol! ^^ I love every character here even the Noth Korean sergeant!

Can't wait for next week!

Loving this drama. Haven't been this excited/satisfied with a drama in a while.
Same here. I just love the straight-forward approach of all leads. This drama deviated from the typical "lets-hide-our-feelings-until-the-last-two-episode" mantra. Lol! Dae Yeong and Myung Joo is LOVE! :D

From good to bad... to WORST. The characters aren't evolving but like everyone here are two-faced. From the Chaeri's grandmother down to San (little boy). Simply irritating. And yet I am willing to finish this so I could rant here hahaha
