Forget the drama poster, forget the synopsis, watch this as Luo Qi Qi’s journey, maybe you will feel less disappointed.…
It was definitely slow moving/slice of life style that was biographical of the FL… yet, somehow I could not stop watching, because I wanted to know what happened to all of her friends and “older brother”.
I have so many questions… There is some symbolism/terminology I just didn’t understand. What exactly is long bow mean? Did I miss something early on? Is it something Chinese culture related? The whole starfish thing… is it unique to this drama or is it a word referenced somewhere else? is she giving him her heart? Trust? Something like becoming blood brothers with a soul-mate like friend?…just saying she appreciated feeling seen/heard/understood by him? Or other? Where can I find the poem she was reciting that drew Zhang Jun’s attention? Are there any other must reads, that were referenced, that I can find English translations of?
Licensed it's not. It is being fan subbed, that's where people here look for the drama. The pirate sites will…
Im preferably looking for where it is available legally. I’m very happy to say I’ve seen more Japanese content on legitimate sites. But there is still tons of shows I cannot find. I personally try not to use pirate sites, more so because I don’t want malware on my devises than for moral reasons. I’m happy to pay to watch, but sometimes it just isn’t an option - it’s actually been a long time since I used a sketchy site. That time it was to watch Love Replay(or maybe it was called Love Rewind) -anyway, I still regularly send requests for that title to Viki, I also occasionally make requests to Asian drama dvd sellers, to see if they can find an Eng subbed version through their connections, because I would love to rewatch it… but alas, I haven’t seen it pop up anywhere.
This is my cup of tea. I’m loving it. Ohhhh the ☺️ cuteness. I really wish I had waited til all the episodes were out though. I never want to just stop at one episode!
...... Well that was NOT the ending I wanted. I feel like I wasted my time.
Omg. Same! It was so promising, but the ending just did not make sense. If that is where they were going with it, they should have began the drama at a different point in these relationships. Were the story to begin at a different point, I might have shipped someone else.
I was so pleased with the way they ended it, I gave it a 10 rating… maybe a little high, but I love time travel shows to begin with, I looked forward to every week’s episode without ever feeling like it got stagnant. Since the drama was more serious involving family issues and serial killings, I was very happy with how they back-burnered the romance aspect, for the two leads, but still added enough cheese and sugar to keep it from being too heavy. Now that I know who the killer is, not sure how that would make me feel during a rewatch.
I just found this on Viki. I started watching without knowing it was a remake, but recognized right away that it had to be… because I have watched and rewatched My Daughter Seo Yeong, and know the plot very well. The cast was so good in the Kirean version, I can’t help but feel this version is a little lacking, in comparison, but it is still a good drama. Overall, I am still enjoying it, and while I do miss Park Hae Jin, I am still shipping the twin brother romance. 🤩 most!
I can’t stop watching. Ok… I have not watched every iteration of this story. I’ve only previously watched the Korean Boys Over Flowers and Chinese Meteor Garden.. However, I liked both of those, and those both had great casting for the leading man and leading lady. Tbh, when I started watching this one, I half expected to be disappointed in the casting, in comparison… but wow, so pleasantly surprised. Not only do I love their casting choices, but they have done an amazing job updating the story, subtly improving the second lead(or is it that this is the first good casting I have seen for that role?), all while not losing any of the most important bits.
I was already up to ep 9 when I added this to my my drama list..and saw that it was a remake of https://kisskh.at/19262-weightlifting-fairy-kim-bok-joo. I did think it was similar, but can’t believe I didn’t realize, on my own. Lol.
So this just came to Viki. How is it? Much romance? Any love triangles? Happy ending?
Yes…happy endings,. I haven’t finished it yet, but it is a remake and I have seen the original kdrama. lots of cute romance. yes to triangles, but they get solved fairly early on.
High kick was never good after season 1. This season specifically feels like a re-skin of the past 2 seasons.…
I didn't watch season one. I tried, but the film quality just seemed too bad and weird with the astronaut, I didn't get past the first few min. of the first ep., in that season. I tried season 2 anyway, because I really like Hwang Jung Eum, and enjoyed it right up til about the last 2 ep. I was hoping there was a link between 2 and 3 and that they would tell us it was all a bad dream or the Older brother and Se Kyung actually just ran away together. I see that is not the case... and I am feeling so sad!!! I am tempted to throw myself into this one just to get over the grief. I don't mind if it is re-skinned, as long as it is cast well, and ends better. I seriously can't invest my emotions in more characters that die. Is there another illuded to death? Does it end in a break up? Does the quality go up from ep one in season one? Maybe I should try to get through it, to see if I can get into that one.
I loved this series all the way through, until the end.... and I am so disappointed how they ended this series,…
You do not find out if either brother ends up with a girl at all. Instead, they illude that one girl and one brother dies. They do not actually show it, but it is heavily suggested. It is possible, that instead of dying, they could have ran away together... but if that was the case, why not show it! I am feeling so sad right now :(

There are two song they keep playing I want to find the names of.
Thanks 😊
