rating something a 1 on the first episode just because of the cast...smh

They're not related since they have different last names. Haneul's last name is Jo and Geurin's last name is Jeong. The subtitles say "older sister" because he's saying "noona" but that's just a word you call a girl who is older than you if you're a guy. So yeah, they're not related lol they probably are just really close family friends of some sort and they think of each other as family. There might be a possible romance between them?? Who knows haha.

This is my favourite historical drama ever. I feel a bit empty inside because it's been 50 episodes and i have to let this story and these characters go. I'm so attached haha and I cried so much in the last episode. I'm so sad it's over but this drama was amazing I love it so much.

I am almost 100% sure they did because everything was hinting towards Junghwan until that spoiler came out and everyone was sure it was Junghwan. Taek being the husband still feels off to me because of how much the future husband acts and even looks like Junghwan. A person's personality can't change that fast, especially changing to his friend's personality LOL. I'm pretty sure they wanted to fool the audience so they changed it last minute. I'm disappointed they chose to fool the audience until the end instead of choosing to stay true to the development of the characters and their relationships and such. Everything felt rushed and changed and it felt off. I still can't believe Taek is the husband either lmao

I don't think that DS not ending up with JH is the problem anymore for me. I'm mainly upset because he just disappeared in the last two episodes?? They made him suffer and they didn't even give him a proper closure? We never got to see if him and DS have any closure? Not a conversation or anything... they don't even seem like friends anymore. We also never got to see how he was doing in the future and same with DR. Sighh... I'm a little bitter...

To me it feels like they planned DS/JH to be endgame in the beginning but then changed to DS/TK to be endgame midway just because they wanted to fool us? I don't know if i'm making sense but I don't know. I never really felt like DS/TK were good as a couple. They never really had that much chemistry tbh. I mean as friends yes, but as a couple not really. At the end of the day it's who DS likes so I can't really be mad but I think I'm just disappointed with the writing. I feel like it could have been executed better or it could have been made to be more believable because I wasn't convinced at all. It felt random and I wish they gave better hints in the beginning if they were really endgame. They only gave hints later which felt off. I feel like they were too focused on fooling us and not focused with delivering the relationships. Why did they have to make JH so pitiful at the end anyway?? My heart hurts. And also, the future husband is not like TK at all??? He totally seems like JH so I'm a bit put off from that. Overall a good drama but towards the end it got weak imo.

TWDR is also a sequel to SFD and is great so yes definitely a must watch
