don't get me wrong, i love a standard rom-com, but it's a shame when people knowingly watch things they won't enjoy and then rate it poorly

but they literally say in the drama that she got a whole new face. it was supposed to be really drastic, not typical, minor plastic surgery

totally. like i get it's not everyone's cup of tea, and that's completely fine, we all have preferences. it's just a little annoying when people know they won't enjoy it because it's not what they usually watch and then rate it poorly

i'm honestly so sad we didn't get to see more of her in prison

yeah it's really unfortunate. this drama showcases a lot of important societal issues and the consequences of them. it's a shame people rate it poorly because it wasn't their typical romcom drama. i don't understand why people watch dramas that don't fall under genres they enjoy. like don't get me wrong, i love romcoms and standard romance dramas, but this is clearly not the type of drama for those who only watch lighter dramas.

basically shows how poorly society treats women, especially those who don't fit conventional beauty standards

to know the truth would have been more painful though, when you finally realize how everything you told yourself was a lie, and that everything you did was all for nothing

doesn't seem like it, initially she only took him there because it started raining and she had no where else to take him since he was so drunk. it seems more like they just fell asleep. if she had assaulted him, the drama probably would've made it more apparent since they don't really shy away from showing harsh scenes

well it would either be lee han byeol or a body double, and body doubles generally aren't credited, at least not on mdl

it's nice to see korean dramas branching out more with more adult-centric themes recently. like i love a good romance drama, but it's nice to have a change and not have to sit through the same tropes over and over

people who didn't read the tags and are upset they didn't get their typical romance drama i guess

weak hero class 1 got very good ratings. i'm not very far in this drama, but i'm assuming the lower ratings are because of people who ignored the genre tags, watched it, and expected a typical romance k-drama

only 2 episodes in but man, parasocial relationships are scary

considering older adults even play high schoolers, it doesn't surprise me that they'd have an odd age gap for a parent/child duo as well

i mean season 1 was a flashback, the main story from the webtoon didn't even include suho

scandal has an inherently negative connotation, a dating rumor/confirmation isn't a scandal lol

it's such a roundabout way to just say they're dating lol
