Another crazy theory from the craziest person (me)
Okay, there quite a lot actually.
1. What if Mu Deok is just an avatar, which explain why Naksu can hold her place as a soul inside mu deok. But the con here is, if mu deok is just an avatar why can she walk and act like a real person considering the man on the boat (eps 1) knew her.
2. What if Naksu and Mu deok is One soul, one person and one personality. When mu deok or naksu is still a child her soul split into two, when naksu is confused on why and how she went into mu deok not the other girl (eps 1) it could explain that it was other half of mudeok did it because she knew naksu was her original half part of the soul. But the con here is, where is the soul of child naksu?
3. If Mu Deok and Naksu are two different person, then Mu Deok could be Bu Yeon, the eldest daughter of Jin family. She was the successor of the Ice Stone or the protector, one of the most powerful mage yet, like the mage in eps 8, maybe it is passed down to every generation and Naksu is just Young Lady Cho. The reason why Mu Deok chose Naksu could be "her thought, personality and will" which is the perfect alchemy of souls, this is a drama so it might be because of inner will and personality. And Mu Deok has her own agenda, she could not see so it was a coincidence that Naksu was performing the alchemy. The only problem here is, if they are two different person, like everyone here we will be getting a sad ending if one of them will sacrifice the other to have control and ownership of the body.
4. Mu Deok is totally our Female Lead, which is naksu. So Mu Deok is basically a soul but willing to sacrifice to destroy the ice stone once and for all.

Okay so apparently, my theory is wrong again. So does that mean Mu Deok does not have the Ice Stone inside her like sealed inside of her, but rather only a part of it inside her? And the ice stone is in the possession of the queen. Then, mu deok shows herself to Uk, is she the real mudeok right? Then, what will happen if shell take over her body?
My head is going to explode reading all your theories along with my own theories that doesnt even make sense but still you think it does make sense hahaha and then there's this spoiler and misleading teasers. Idk what to think anymore, plus all the wait is such a heartwrenching. Im actually watching 7dramas at the same time, 4 of them are still ongoing hahaha bless my heart and soul, and my brain 😂😂
What if Mu deok opened the jinyowon not because she is just the lost daughter but because MUDEOK happen to have the stone inside her. Like master seo sealed the stone inside her when she is just a child and its also a coincidence that Bu Yeon lost around that time or maybe there's also a situation where BY got kidnapp or whatever because she is blind or something more than that. The chamber open, because all the relics there is part of the stone which made by master seo and that door react to Mudeok who happen to be the protector/seal of the stone, also what if naksu didnt become wild or petrified because the stone inside mu deok is so powerful that it can hold two souls in one body. But I really want to know how NAKSU can have her own happy ending considering its NAKSU who SY, CP AND JU fell in love not mudeok. So lets see

Eps 9 made me laugh so hard, then in the middles of eps 10 got me bawling my eyes out. Its heartbreaking, unlike most of you guys here I actually dont hate her mother. She loves CSS although she doesnt know how and cant express her feelings she's evil then kind the next moment. I agree thats she's overbearing and extra this time, even sending her daughter away without even giving her a proper hug or being motherly from the first episode, I think she knows she's unfair yet she's too prideful because she thinks that her daughter is embarassing and stubborn, she only looks CSS wrongdoings and false upbringing.
Im really happy that third aunt and third uncle are good people I hope that during their time together at Hou County, they will stand as CSS parents. Its good that there are three men who likes CSS the way she is not because she's smart, noble and responsible but because she is CSS.
I also cant wait for CSS eldest brother, I hope that he will love his sister and defend her like her twin and second brother. Some of you here want to slap the mother, but its a very good plot and its realistic plus the actress is so amazing and beautiful.
Their chemistry could blow up the galaxy!! The horse riding scene is so funny as heck and sweet at the same time. He always say "I admire you for a long time, yet you ignore me" or something along those lines, but its true that he's smitten.

Im still sticking to my last theory that Mu Deok and Naksu soul is like one. So there will be no naksu and yul or uk and mu deok or naksu because it will ruin the plotline. Point is, Yul found out Mu deok is Naksu but Mu Deok will fall for Jang uk and Naksu is Mu deok there is actually other process in alchemy of souls Jang Gang left so I think theres more than meets the eye. I think mother jin reacts to the appearance of Mu Deok in their place regarding the weird birds actions.
My head hurts thinking about too many theories about jin's daughter, mu deok, naksu, fire incident, jang uk incident and so many others then there's too many days to wait for the next episode God help me.
