My thoughts exactly. I really liked the dynamic between the three of them. Wish they stayed together and continued…
ok last comment cus i feel like we're spamming the comment section lol (sry for the spamming). Yup its the same with me and detective with romance. I don't like detective with romance but there have been exceptions (there are a few that I really enjoy), this one just wasn't one of them that I liked the combination. idk maybe because they couldnt develop the cases well so didn't see why theyd want to struggle to develop romance as well? still I did think it was a fun watch though if you don't think to much about it.

eh, well im not personally a fan of romance as a subplot in detective shows. I like it more by itself or like with mystery or fantasy but with actual sleuthing and detetives it almost always feels off to me. But i agree with you, lazy writing for sure.

Exactly. for me the romance at the start is pretty mild and ok but the way it escalates abruptly at the end makes me wish there wasn't any at all. As for the cases, lol well i agree, i have been solving almost all of them way before trio. The writers really needed to put more effort in making the cases. It's a pity cus the main three characters are so fun i wish i could see them solve interesting cases.

I see, well for me while this show wasn't really special I liked to see their personalities work together and solve the cases even if the cases themselves weren't great. The romance adds nothing for me which was why I could do without it. And in the last ep with the wedding and everything felt out of place in a detective show. I'll put this in a spoiler in case someone doesnt know about it.

The first episodes were definitely my favorite but I still liked their interactions after that though even if there was less clowning. I just didn't like them overly pushing the romance like in the last eps and ofc the lackluster cases.

oh yea i agree totally, this is by no means a mindblowing detective film, they def needed to work more on the cases (most of the cases can be easily solved by the audience and some cases are just poor) but it was fun, for the most part, for me to watch because i liked the dynamic between the three of them, their personalities really worked well together. Their interactions like you said was sometimes inconsistent but i felt if they had kept everything to friendship or at least not escalated the romance at the end, also focusing more on making good cases, the show would have turned out better

agreed. detective/mystery is always better with no romance or at most light hinting of romance, any more simply takes away from the mystery side. Well at least in most cases lol.
I just want to say that don't read the novel. It is really problematic to begin with and the characters of tine…
I personally agree with savageaf, i think if you watch this show and enjoy this sarawat and this tine, reading the novel wont add much because the characters in the novel are completely different to that of the show. As Nam Ryan said book tine is open to interpretation but book sarawat is really nothing like the sarawat in the show and much of what book sarawat does (which is sometimes problematic), show sarawat wouldnt do. The book does have cute and touching parts that are left off in the show. But to me, since the characters are so different, i feel like im reading a love story between two different set of couples. Im not saying the book is bad, i never finished it so i dont feel comfortable judging it, problematic definitely. Im just saying if you wanted to read the book for more of the sarawat and tine we see in the show then it wont do much.
One of the very first dramas i watched and ive been in love with it ever since. Its extremely funny but also equally as heartwarming. The 3 ragtag leads are really what makes this show, they share a single braincell, have great chemistry and operate like a mismatch family.
