There are several things I like about this show, and several I dislike. The thing about MDL is that users tend to give a very high (or low) rating for shows they (dis)like, so it is very hard to know from the rating how “good” a show is.
Looking at the statistics page gives a somewhat more clear picture; it is obvious that the number of (9s and) 10s are disproportionate to the overall ratings and taking that into consideration the mean rating probably would lie around 8 at the moment.
I enjoy both LGBTQ and BL, especially when they intersect. Personally I think this show has lots of potential, which make me ache a bit, beacause while parts of the show are really good the overall writing and production are somewhat lacking. I hope the coming episodes are able to reach their potential, because I think this show deserves it.
Episode 5 is different from the previous ones. There was hardly any chemistry between Bright and Win. They simply talked and ate. Rather boring to me. Previously there was something that kept the episode going, but in this one—nothing.
The subs both said that this was the last episode as well as that the next ones will continue airing on the last Tuesday every month, as now. I guess we will have to wait and see. I just wish they get back to old format.
This is the only BL series I am reaaaaaally craving right now. I have been—almost—patiently been waiting the whole day! I am so spoiled that I even dare to hope to have subs available at the get go. Perhaps I should rewatch season one while waiting…

I am a bit ambigous about this eighth episode, while I applaud the finesse they ended the episode with the rest of it was rather mediocre if not outright bad. Quite the uneven series to say the least. If I only pick out certain scenes I could easily regard this as one of the best Filipino BL series right now, sure, but on the whole… Hopefully the rest of the show is more even.
Finally a current Filipino BL show that does not center itself around social media! *laughs* And I also like that, in general, the production value is a bit higher this time around. This first episode was a bit all over the place though and the introduction was a bit too much… hopefully the writing and acting gets more solid further on—I still hold my hopes up with this one!
Boyband Love The Series has a compelling premise and good general plot/storyline but it needs improvement on acting…
I am happy for all the BL series we are getting, but I would prefer a fraction of that number with a higher production value. Hopefully in the future. ^^
I really thought this series would get better by now. I do not get why they have to add all these things, they just take the series further away from what it potentially could be. And the episode opened fairly well... X_x
I was curious to see some more mainstream lakorns, but it is so hard to find series available in Scandinavia that also have subs. I guess I should feel fortunate that so much of series Y are available to me at least! I will check back later...
