Just a quick question it says there are 40 episodes but I just checked the calendar and it says episode 35 is airing tomorrow with none following it? Is there a break? Or is the episode count wrong?
I may have missed this but does anyone know why in the first episode the little girl is hidden? I heard them say they didn't register her birth and they were hiding her but I couldn't get why. I mean they still had to feed her etc so keeping her makes no sense.
I really liked this drama, there was a lot of suspense and I loved the ending. It leaves the promise of hope without making it a slushy and unrealistic ending which imo would have ruined the rest of the show. I thought all of the actors did a great job. I haven't seen the FL in anything before but I am going to check out her stuff because she was fab.
I really think they could have left the beginning part of this episode out. It was underdeveloped and nothing really happened. They could have had a heartfelt moment together in the hospital or after Hee Joo was better and did the same. There was no need to drag it all out. If they wanted to add it in they should have stretched it to a longer series to make it count. Maybe add some more tension in Hee Joo trying to find him maybe even a whole episode. It would have made that part worth it. But overall I loved this series and the ending was really cute and sweet.
In all honesty, I was a little dubious about watching this. I have seen Dylan Wang in many serious roles and thought he was a great actor, but I just couldn't see him in a comedy role. I have to say he is completely killing it! The more I watch this show the more I am impressed by him. The whole show is actually Laugh-out-loud funny, not just a small ha either. I have been in stitches watching this show so so many times.
The only point I am not sure about yet is the FL Tian Xi Wei. I have loved her in the many youth dramas I have seen her in but I am not quite warming up to her character yet, maybe it's because I am used to seeing her in modern dramas, maybe it's the character herself I just find her annoying and petty. Maybe she will have an interesting character arc I dunno.
I am loving the focus on the story and the ML it makes an interesting and refreshing change from full-on romance-led shows. Not that I don't like those but they can all blend into each other in the end. This is definitely standing out from the crowd.
This drama is made for binge - watching not for waiting for like whole week .Hence frustration , those who started…
I have watched ongoing dramas before but this show and lovely runner are the only ones that made me wish the week away and theorise like crazy! And of course camp out in this page for support and spoilers lol. I spend the minutes/hours up until the next episode drops refreshing the Netflix page lol. I have been more of a Cdrama watcher recently they have at least one episode a day but even then the wait can be hard!
So our theory was right! ππ» That last look from Sa Eon was that of guilt π What is up with this family…
I mean most everything in the whole damn show is the grandfather/fathers fault so that makes complete sense. Plus Sa Eon would totally take that guilt on himself and do something like that. Oh wahh they need a happy ending, I kind of want kidnapper to be alive so that he can go to jail I know its weird and he's a killer and all but I even feel a little sorry for him. They should have shipped him off to a mental hospital instead of drowning him.
I think nearly every adult let their kid down in this show. I was saying that exact thing earlier I dont think there is a redeemable one among them expect for heejoos dad but he cant really do that much bless him
I understand that they want to keep us in suspense and they do it really well. But I am climbing the walls right now only 2 episodes left, a week to wait for the next episode and they leave us with that ending to episode 10 without a preview? Waaaahhhhh how can I get through the week
So I have a plot point which is annoying me. He went back in time 5 years. ago right? I think it would have been a better ending for him to find her in his own time instead of us waiting in her time for him to show up. I mean why wait right?
So Grandfather Paik leaves his child with the fisherman to raise (thanks novel spoilers), then uses the same man…
I have been thinking about this and the only reason I can come up with is that he believes YYS is the real Baek Sa Eon and the real one is pretending. Or is it something that hasn't been revealed yet, or maybe he is also a psycho killer lol

Anyways, I just wanted to share that :)
