If Sun-Jae really does time travel as well, I think the preview for episode 7 hits different. IMO the original timeline before he time travelled he misses her and she goes missing turns up dead... so he slips back in time and tries to save her but is not able to save her legs. So I'm speculating that this scene is from the original timeline before he time travelled

The way I see it if he really didn't remember her why would he refuse to work with her. I think its like I've seen others theorize... he is pretending not to know her to protect her. He thinks she lost her memories die to trauma and doesn't want to trigger it for her.
