I like the story but I think it can have a better ending. Feng Ren is very stupid, how can he kill his consort without hesitating? Why didn’t something miracle happen? Why didn’t he feel familiar with Fang Qiwu and took time to investigate her instead of killing her? He is the most foolish main lead ever. Btw, I know this is a love story of Feng Tian Yi's uncle and in Novoland Castle in the Sky he seems to have a sad love story in the past so the ending of this movie is acceptable to be tragic but from what I said at the beginning it can have better ending and this love story will be more memorable, I wished this movie wasn't the story of Feng Ren so that it wouldn't have a tragic ending like this.

Ok, I admit that Yang Mi looks ageless but I don’t think her cheerfulness and youthfulness can compare with the real young people. In others versions of Novoland they mostly have young female as main leads so I did expect the leads in this drama will be young people like other versions. However, this version might be more mature so Yang Mi might better fit the role.
I’m enjoying watching this drama because the plot is my type and the male lead’s character is lovely but tbh, the female isn’t that much attractive, it must be better if the female lead was not her. Btw, I still can enjoy it because I like the story and the male lead.
