I loved My Beautiful Gongshim despite being an avid crime or detective-based K-Drama fan. I fell for Nam Goong Min when he was popular for his villain roles. My Beautiful Gongshim is a nice change in pace to rid of all the dark thoughts from the killing or blood I'm used to; the comedy and light-hearted developing romance is very gentle on the viewer's heart, even better with all the cringe-worthy lovey-dovey moments. I wasn't expecting much from that drama, therefore I was satisfied when I finished it. Seeing Nam Goong Min portray a different kind of character compared to the serious ones he normally acts as really makes you fall in love with him more and more. It definitely wouldn't be considered his best drama, but you could tell he, other actors, and the production team had fun filming it.
