If you go back to ep 3, when Kyung Jun brought Da Beom into the snack bar, Kyung Jun mentions that that Da Beom is a “game expert” & later asked him why did Choi Joo Won die if he was the mafia, Da Beom reacted and said “I don’t know” but the look of Kyung Jun’s face changed when he said that as if he started to suspect him because Da Beom should be an “expert” at games. Da Beom got anxious and said afterwards “it says the mafia MUST kill someone”, which brings us to ep 7 where it showed the message that they had to kill someone or they’ll die instead. Because of this, it made me thought that Kyung Jun was the police cause he already suspected it was him from the beginning. But obviously he couldn’t point fingers at Da Beom cause everyone knows their relationship and it would just back fire him,
Got some new theoriessssssss.. but first off, poor Yoon Joon 😭 man couldn’t save his girl was tragic,.. but why can he only use it 48 hours later? Cmon writers wtffffff. I honestly don’t blame him for saving himself first though, it’s a natural instinct to protect yourself in such a situation.. I’m sure he was 100% good guy and would save others if he could have without the 48hr restriction.
ANYWAYS, new theories and possibilities!
1. Ep 7 - when Yoon Joon was witnessing Kyung Jun & Jin Ha’s fight, someone threw the can and he turned around. Who threw it? What if Yoon Joon saw the person (presumably the mafia) and that’s why he was in a state of panic cause he was baffled by both of the situation and got caught/killed in the end. If you go back and look at the scene where he tried to runaway, there’s a door right there, the direction where Yoon Joon looked when the can came out. Seems like the mafia took this to an advantage to make them all take each other out. Also the CAN, it could only come from the snack bar and there was only three people who was at the snack bar before Kyung Jun kicked them out leaving with a crate of snacks, meaning one of those three— Mina, Eun Chan or Yeon Woo —could be the mafia…
2. Who wrote that Jun Hee is a civilian? As we know, it’s either mafia or police who wrote it. BUT… in ep 8, Yoon Seo found what was used to write it in the infirmary. Which brings us to a list of people who we’ve seen in the infirmary often: Yoon Seo, Jung Won, Na Hee, Mina & Somi. We know that Somi is Mafia already, but I don’t think she’s the one who wrote the message.. so that leaves us with 3 suspects (either mafia or police) because Yoon Seo is a civilian OR it could be Jun Hee himself who wrote it.
3. What is the police doing? Like literally, what does the police do? Originally, the police would identify and go through the civilian to find out the mafia at night. WHAT IF the police also wakes up at night and is able to roam around too like the mafias? That means the police is able to lurk around and find the mafia at night. Since the police used their “power” twice, this means they either found two mafia (meaning Kyung Jun is cop then cause he accused Da Beom & Jun Hee), OR found none and is terrible at their role, ORRR found one and not enough, ORRRRR they do know who mafia is but isn’t the one who wrote any of the messages. My other theory with the police is that, what if Kyung Jun isn’t the cop but the police is using Kyung Jun & Yoon Seo to figure who the mafia is cause them both seems to be the one figuring shit out around here. Which brings me to my next theory below.
4. Jun Hee - at this point, he could be either Mafia or Police. Based off if Kyung Jun is the cop then he knows Jun Hee is mafia because he was right about Da Beom.. or either he knew Da Beom is one but just threw Jun Hee in cause he hates him. He is getting super sus at the other half end of the show… BUT if Jun Hee is the police, he luckily got saved from Yoon Joon and is able to continue to investigate (as we saw in ep 8 today) But him writing that he himself is civilian doesn’t add up for me… cause how would he know if it announced his role or not when he was dead and got brought back in the morning. BUT if he’s a mafia, I believe he doesn’t want to do any killing at all and is trying to figure out who is the host along with Yoon Seo so that they all can get out of this horror, hence this is why Yoon Seo isn’t dead. - Leading another theory, what if the Mafias is leaving Yoon Seo alone to let her figure out who the host is cause she’s so up and about it and see if they’re all able to escape together (but obviously they have to keep killing someone within the hopes that Yoon Seo will find the answer before they have to kill another person). OR going back to what I said about cop being able to roam around at night, what If Yoon Seo is the police? Cause in the beginning of ep 1 she was in her room and she woke up during the night. - Possible police right now are: Kyung Jun, Jun Hee, Yoon Seo, Mina & Na Hee
5. Jung Won - assuming that she is the host, what if the host is a mafia too? And the mafias don’t know that? There’s a good possibility since we’re all sus about the scene where Jung Won & Da Beom went together to get his laptop.
Final thoughts after ep 8: - I was right about Da Beom being mafia from my last theory!!! - Possible police: Kyung Jung, Jun Hee, Yoon Seo, Na Hee & Mina. - Possible mafias (if there’s any more): Jun Hee, Jung Won, Na Hee, Mina, Eun Chan & Yeon Woo. - Na Hee is an absolute wild card, she could be either role cause she’s barely in any scenes leading me to suspicions that she’s either playing her role sneaking around as a police or either mafia. - If I’m correct about the police being able to wake up at night and roam, then Kyung Jun might be the cop and is faking to pass out based on what we saw in that last scene.

It’ll be too obvious from the beginning even if they vote unanimously on Kyung Jun, people would have accused him from that moment cause he everyone knows that Kyung Jun bullies him and gives him a reason to kill him off. That’s what happened to Woo Ram, killed the girl he had a crush on and then got accused because the reasoning of it was that he was humiliated by rejection and everyone knew, and he ended up being the mafia and killed 🤷🏻♀️
Okay so I decided to rewatch from the first episode up until today’s episode (ep7), and here’s my theory and guess. Bear with me.. it’s gonna be long and messy, lol.
Either the setting is FL’s Dream or Jung Won’s Video game (which this makes most sense), but the Host/Mastermind is Jung Won. If you watch closely in the beginning of the first episode, when Jung Won was coding her game on the laptop, along within her coding it said “this.props.children”; assuming that it’s referring props as in weapons that the mafia are using to kill the civilians and children as the students. Also I’m curious as to what she put into Yoo Seo’s backpack in the first episode when they were in their room (although it’s prob a birthday gift for her, but I just have a feeling that it’ll be connected later into the show). As I rewatched the show, I noticed that the statue’s eye were closed (the one from the beginning where they scanned the QR code), same as the ghost girl from the photo; they look similar to each other so I wonder if the statue has anything to do with the ghost girl. With my assumption that Jung Won is somewhat related to the ghost girl.. cause back in the scene when she was trying to prove Yoon Seo innocent from the camera footages, no one was there with her when she was working on it, she was alone so she could of manipulated or done something with the computer exploding and the ghost appearing on screen (Yoon Seo told no one about the ghost girl besides Jung Won in the beginning also).. again in that “live time” of the ghost it’s just standing there with no movement, just like in the scene where the people and birds were not moving when Woo Ram was zooming in the camcorder. OR either, the ghost girl is trying to help Yoon Seo and everyone from Jung Won (Host) and Jung Won has no control of the ghost girl, hence why she seems sus during the scene when Yoon Seo mentioned a message about finding the Host along with a key; Jung Won looked like she was panicking on the inside as if she wasn’t the one who provided that message even though she is the Host.
Jin Da Beom - I suspect him as one of the mafia after rewatching episode 3. Same goes to Kyung Jun suspecting Da Beom being mafia but he’s not gonna be able to point fingers at him cause people would just assume he’s the mafia cause he bullies and picks on the dude anyways (and ofc everyone hates him). Also when they took Da Beom’s phone during this scene, if he was truly a civilian he wouldn’t have been so anxious about them grabbing his phone to see what his role was (which probably most likely confirmed Kyung Jun’s hunch). Also in ep 6, when everyone was in that computer room, when he agreed with “let’s wait and see if we capture the mafia on camera to vote”, the camera frame switches and you can see Somi glaring at him when it’s a camera shot of everyone in the scene.
As a mafia role, they either have someone they want to protect or have personal grudges that made them lead to their decision of who to kill. With that being said, that led to Woo Ram’s mistake of killing the girl he had a crush on because he got killed in the end since everyone knew about his rejection(but I’m not sure if Kyung Jun had proof that he was Mafia or if it really was a hunch of his and just accused him since we still don’t know who the police is).
Same issue with Somi, she killed both Eun Ha (well by getting away by voting her first) & Jisoo who assume that she was the mafia because she pushed Dong Hyun out of the line. But I don’t know why no one else is bringing that up because it is a valid accusation since there was a witness.. but if you also think about, up until now (ep 7) there’s no one else to accuse her cause they’re all dead.. BESIDES Jun Hee.. Which leads me also thinking Jun Hee could be the Police.. because he’s acting weird now in ep 7. Somi could kill Yoon Seo if she wanted to cause she hates the fact she’s close with Jun Hee but she can’t cause she could he accused cause people around her knows that she hates Yoon Seo for that reason.
Final thoughts after Ep 7 though… - Da Beom killed the dude and made it seem like it was the other bullies is my guess. - Jun Hee could be the Police… seems like he knows that Somi is the mafia but doesn’t want to point it out to others (based on his character’s personality) - I still don’t know who the doctor is… but just purely assuming that it’s Mina cause she keeps lurking around as if she’s trying to figure out who to save or save herself.
