I'm sad that Ryan and MD not coming back for season 2 cause they were part of my fav couples here but guess if they would find good replacement I'd deal with it. For Ryan they can just do something with Rice bc he is so adorb and his chemistry with Inntouch is cool as you can see in their watching eps reactions etc. For MD it's hard to imagine someone else as replacement but in same time I need my Frong baby be happy. Overall I hope s2 still happening! I starting have bad feelings about it
wow seems I am one of those few watchers of "Hana Girori no Yoriko-san". It was simple yet nice drama, a bit too short but guess that's wasn't bothering me much. For sure not regret watching it
A Piece Of Your Mind absolutely YESSS! It's really underrated. I know it's slow-ish but it's the whole beauty of it and the cinematography, songs, actors and characters...it's all worth it
As for me unfortunately that wasn't very good drama. I hate why in lakorns they usually show female leads as naive, dumb at times, clingy etc. Finding strong, likeable fem characters are unusual in lakorns at least in those I watched. Women are shown weak and stupid. That's the vibe I always getting and it's honestly tiring and frustrating to see.
The whole trope of "mean dude who treat female lead as trash" is boring 'cause how many times we bound to see this? It's usually follow the same path when you look at many lakorns, the same was with other Mark's drama "My Husband in Law" I think we could easy write some examples of same path of the story the dumbness of fem lead, the meany male lead, how she always forgive him how trashy he treat her, that he eventually fall in love with her, but then she is tired of his behavior, there is some shooting involved, most likely pregnancy, basically nothing new.
Another thing that bothers me often (including this drama) is the way they always close eyes on violence, possessiveness, sexual harassment, that they turn rape into comedy or just 'lovers fight' here or just overall in lakorns.
There is also the way they often portray LGBTQ+ characters, following stereotypes, make jokes of them etc.
I know that Paeng character grown later on but I think they could do it way better, show more of her struggle to fit in and being loved and feel safe again, focus more on her grief, trauma and being lost in new situation she found herself in instead of choosing to make her acting nuts and dumb.
It's may sound harsh but honestly I can't see over and over the same thing. So unfortunately that drama disappointment me as many other. I hope Mark will start pick better scripts.
That's just my opinion tho so everyone can care to disagree :)
I can't say I am surprised. It was rather obvious they have no balls to give happy ending with 2 dudes being in love with each other. Not surprised but definitely disappointed. There were so many ways they could handle it way better, make sense out of it yet they pick a crappy writing and ruined the ending for so many people. I could accept many things but not that kind of bulls*t
Overall I hope s2 still happening! I starting have bad feelings about it
