Enjoying this so far, the eye contact between leads, especially in the restaurant in episode two was amazing, such chemistry! Nice to be watching a darker series, its been too long, I wish there were more series like this.
I loved this series so much, though I felt this could have been extended out to a longer series so we could see some more of the much loved characters. But I also liked how well rounded it was, everything was made pretty clear and it ended on a lovely note. Though I liked all the characters Li Ming and Heart really were adorable, Gemini and Fourth have amazing chemistry and are great actors at such a young age! Earth Mix were also great. I cannot say how nice it was to watch a series that dealt with mature, real life issues for a change, more of this please!
Thank the BL gods, finally a series with actual adults, complex character driven plot and real world issues being explored, not to mention the GORGEOUS cinematography and settings. Also What the actual hell....is Mix getting more gorgeous by the day or is it just me? He's aging like a fine wine, as is Earth
I really wanted to like this more than I actually did. UWMA being my first and still favorite BLs (As heart wrenching as it was). But I felt the characters here were totally different, there were too many (new) characters thrown in, and WinTeam sometimes seemed to take a backseat in their own story. That being said, it was nice to revisit old characters and the music had me feeling all nostalgic. I did feel Win and Team were well acted in the more emotional scenes (Team's near drowning in particular) but lacked at other times. Overall I enjoyed it, but I had hoped it would be better, no rewatch value for me personally, unlike UWMA.
I started this not expecting much, and now its my must watch/current favorite series every week. How does it keep getting better? Great acting, great chemistry with zero awkwardness and I love the music too, the Tilly Birds cover was just *chef's kiss*
Honestly a 10/10 for me, I didn't expect much and was wowed by great acting and an interesting/different story line. Art is adorable, Best was cute, Gus was brilliant, and I even liked Long and Joke. All the characters were well acted and thankfully not like some recent terrible/wooden acting in BLs, the love scenes were HOT. I also liked that all the characters had flaws, but were still likeable.
There were a few things I wasn't keen on (the sister) and some of the plot lines, but overall this pleasantly surprised me and I am looking forward to more work by this director and (hopefully!) seeing Art and Best in other works also. The ending surprised me, I honestly thought there would be a twist, but it was sweet nonetheless.
Really enjoying this (more than expected) The story is very straightforward, but I seriously appreciate the beauty of the cinematography and the lighting. The gorgeous shots of the temple and that scene in the alley when just the crane machine was lit was *chefs kiss*
Just binged the first three episodes and despite a shaky start, I'm really liking it. The acting and chemistry are spot on, Art is so damn cute and Golf is suitably terrifying especially as I can never predict what he'll do next, yet for some reason I still like him. Flawed (crazy) characters, a dark storyline and building tension that keeps me guessing. Looking forward to seeing more!
Only just heard about this remake! Does anyone know where to find it English Subbed? I would buy the DVD if it was available, but I can't find fansubs or the DVD anywhere
My thoughts exactly. Also that weird helicopter dream.
There were a lot of signs, the dream was definitely a big one, the way Khim was looking at the strong wind in the trees and the rain as the family was leaving was pretty telling too. Worried what episode 11 may bring...
After episode 10 I feel like a tragedy is definitely incoming, especially after the startlingly sudden change of attitude by the Dad just before leaving. Add to that the weird Doctor lady, the previous conversation between the parents in an earlier episode about that odd house in the "middle of nowhere" that the Dad mentions would be a great 'safe house'.....hmm. I just SERIOUSLY hope they don't kill off Rain.. because he and Phayoo are the only ones keeping me interested at this point.
Akk deserved better, he was probably the only likeable character along with Saifah (Seriously, Gawin needs a lead role after Not Me). This was a struggle to watch but I persevered, hoping it would improve...it didn't. disappointed is an understatement. I loved the link with The Little Prince and the Enchante book was something that (as a Literature student) I thought would be cute. But no, it was awful, Theo was a spoiled, obnoxious and horrible character. The part where he noticed the rose dying did it for me, illustrative of how he did not care for Akk or their 'relationship/friendship' (just himself). In most scenes at the school, I was too busy looking at the beautiful architecture to give a damn about the (badly written) story. In the end, I was cheering for Akk to just leave Theo in France, to be honest..
Also What the actual hell....is Mix getting more gorgeous by the day or is it just me?

Loved him in Not me, a great actor with gorgeous, expressive eyes.
The acting and chemistry are spot on, Art is so damn cute and Golf is suitably terrifying especially as I can never predict what he'll do next, yet for some reason I still like him.

Does anyone know if the manga is available in English?
