I think iqiyi is slower since they have to do the subs, at least the international iqiyi. I always watch the raw episodes since I can understand Chinese

Cannot agree more. Steven Zhang is really versatile in his acting, but I guess it's because he attended an acting school before. Not sure about SWL though, but have to admit he improved a lot though

In Chinese it's common to call someone "Xiao" (which means little) + his/her name. Since the mom is older than Gu Weiyi she calls him Xiao Gu. It's not a second name :) you will find this very often in Chinese dramas.
