The filming of s2 was started at the end of nov and it is supposed to wrap up this month.
According to donghua, Baobao also had few scenes like Wang Ye. WYL joined another drama with Chen Fei Yu but after the booting ceremony she went back to shoot for IAN S2. I saw Reuters of her with peng yu cheng. And as her scenes were less, she wrapped up earlier and went back to her new drama with CFY.
The main spotlight of S2 is on peng yu cheng and another new character (forgot her name).
Neo was supposed to join at the end of January after FOF. But FOF wasn't concluded until yesterday. So no one knows whether they will change Wangye or wait for him.
Just like you who don't have any official link, I also don't have any. Even though there are Reuters of PYC and WYL together, there are not any official link confirming their roles for s2. So asking for link is quite illogical.
You are believing from the start that Neo wasn't going to play WY. Why? His character was the most popular one. No director would want to change him. Only zhuge qing was replaced as Cnetz complained about his looks.

If you read the donghua you would know Wang Ye doesn't appear much on this chapter. Director won't change the script for him either. If he doesn't play WY then it was because of his previous director's fault who kept dilly dally and took 140 days where he was supposed to take 110days.
And no one asked you to believe. But it seems like you can't accept the fact of Neo playing WY. So pray hard for it.
