Curious why you found it a let down... I also feel like something is missing, but I can't put my finger on it.

I'm not sure we're supposed to feel any romance or chemistry between the two yet... they were just forced into a marriage and are still trying to get to know one another. It would feel rushed if they suddenly developed feelings. I think with time we'll see a natural chemistry develop...

3rd and 4th episodes were pretty good. However, I hope Lee Yol gets his memories back soon. I'm yearning for some character development... and I'm wondering where this plot is going! A bit nervous, but I'm in this for the long haul. :)

Omygod I thought he looked familiar... Coffee Prince! Haha, just finished watching the first episode of The Guest.

I think Kyung Soo portrayed the prince in this way based on the circumstances his character is/has faced. He is constantly being watched within the castle walls and, as he says, a lot of people want him killed. As a result he puts on a mask and shields his true feelings behind a cold façade. You can see this mask removed just a little once he is outside the castle walls on his way to the rain ceremony. As he sits on the hillside he even reminds Dong Joo to not be too serious all the time. Also, I think Kyung Soo has a gift for portraying emotions with just his eyes... and small smirks haha. But honestly... I think there's a lot more to his character we haven't seen yet, we may see new dimensions to the prince (and Kyung Soo's acting) as the show progresses.

Really enjoyed the first two episodes. I'm ready for some lighthearted episodes next week :')

Do Kyung Soo's character was 10 in the flashbacks. 16 years later would make him a 26 year old. That' s not even a year older than the age he is in real life. He just looks really young... I do agree though that 22 year old Nam Ji Hyun playing a 28 year old is a bit... odd. But it doesn't really bother me too much. People in their 20s can look a whole range of ages. I'm 23 and still get mistaken for a teenager while a friend of mine the same age looks in his mid thirties. Hopefully their youthful looks will become less of a distraction as the story progresses.

I just finished reading the manga and adored it... I hope this movie can somewhat live up to it...

Ya'll can disagree with Zewaa, but you don't need to be rude or mean. We are all entitled to our opinions. If you don't agree with her, do so in a respectful way... You're just continuing the negative cycle by lashing out. Sheesh...

I mean... it was okay, but certainly not a masterpiece. It felt like it was lacking in direction/ and a clear narrative, and I didn't feel like there was much compatibility between the leads, aside from the obvious sexual attraction they had towards one another. Just my opinion though. Seems like a lot of people enjoyed it, just wish I could have as well.

I submitted an edit to his picture and his name... hopefully he can get back "Do Kyung Soo." His profile should be displaying his birth name, not stage name. Especially, too, if this is a site promoting his acting endeavors.

Same! I found him through acting first and was so impressed. It's a testament to his talent as an actor. He is both an actor and a singer. Talented in each. :)

I love Control Tower, one of his first works... and I really fell in love with his acting in Orange. I'll have to check out Rikuo

I agree with SASS... leave fixing that issue to the admins. No need to rate a drama low to play the balancing act. Once it begins airing, people will naturally start rating the drama and the scores will fall into place where they should be. One 10 score won't affect much.
