Japan is lined-up on second and third after China and United States, as the high quality film production budget in the world.
10. Brazil $800m
9. Spain $900m
8. Italy $1.01bn
7. Russia $1.2bn
6. Germany $1.35bn
5. India $1.4bn
4. France & UK $1.7bn
3. Japan $2.4bn - Close to China (by 3 billion only)
2. China $2.7bn - Close to Japan (by 3 billion only)
1. North American $10.8bn.
The USA is still far ahead of any other Country for now and in no danger of being over taken but they will surely be looking over their shoulder as China continues its march forwards world domination.
Japanese drama have been around for over 40 years. Congrats!!
And I believe most of their film have awards the Oscar in 1980s, 1990s, late 2000s.
Excellent story/plot and great acting!
