I’m so glad it resonates with you. I think everyone has their own rating system, for me Unforgotten Night would…
At least someone got therapy in the last episode after all the traumatic experiences. Only bed friend showed that as part of the healing process and journey to a happy future together (in Thai BLs that I watched). But given the crazy storylines, there should be much more therapy in drama land imo
You put into words what I felt about the chemistry and dialogues and why it didn't work out. You're harsher than me with the points, but maybe only because it takes a lot for me to give something 5 or less points. I mostly range between 5-10 and 5 is something like unforgotten night. This was better as the actors were actually a lot better, that's why I gave it 7 points.
if you want to watch it legally, you need to be in Thailand (or use a VPN and change your location to Thailand) and then watch it on WeTV, because it's geoblocked. the cut version is there for free and you need a subscription to watch the uncut.
Aside from there being way too much gay happening in this series, it's not bad.
I understand what you mean, after you explained it later. Statistically, there are way too many gay people in this drama. But it seems many people don't understand that it's about statistics for you. I was confused by your comment too when I read it the first time. Maybe you want to edit it for clarity to avoid haters. I absolutely get your point. There are way too many brothers or relatives or classmates who are all gay accidentally in these shows. But it's just for the sake of the storylines, to have a second gay person/ couple for a second pov. It's all fantasy.
Yo is a shy guy and not aware of his own feelings in the beginning, that's why you can get the impression that he isn't showing any feelings. The intro song says: I'm shy and your smile makes the world too bright, and there's one scene on the rooftop, when Pun has a lot of fans around him, where Yo smiles dreamily and thinks that Pun made his world more colourful. Then he offers Pun to protect him when Somchai comes to the shop and he also said he wants to stay with Pun until they die. If that isn't an indirect love confession, I don't know. When they exchanged rings, Yo finally realises: do I have this kind of feeling since the beginning? I lied to myself about my interest in Pun.
The interest in alien got less, yes, but he said in the end that he still likes aliens, and the short scene in the boat and the woods is them going for UFO spotting together, I think. Because Yo loves to camp outside where there are no lights from the city.
The birthmark was something that Pun recognised in every incarnation of Yo, so it it helped to find him again. That was revealed only in the last episode.
Maybe a side story could have helped, but giving Janja an obvious love interest would have ruined the mystery around her. But I would have liked to have more background about Shin who works in the store and also about the girl who works there. It would have given the characters more depth.
But they showed them on the camping trip (I suppose to watch UFO) and dance at the Halloween party as vampire? And then there's the time skip to the end of Yos life, that shows they made it to the end. It was unrealistic that Yo dies with 100 years, but at least he made it to age 80? And they had the lifes of Yo before, so Pun wasn't lonely all the time.
It's a happy ending! I liked the show very much. It's very cute and colourful and full of humour. It isn't as…
Why people are confused if it's a happy ending: they both confess their love and you see they promise to stay together. Then you see a few scenes of their happy life, until Yo dies at high age. A vampire lives much longer than a human! But then he searches for Yos next incarnation immediately, to have time with him again. The rewatch value is high in my opinion, because they had some story twist in the last episode, and I will rewatch it again with the knowledge from the last episode.
I love this show too and it was the only show I kept up with during my travels. I didn't even finish Cherry Magic,…
1000yo and cherry magic are both my feel good shows! I liked the Thai version of cherry magic too, it's adapted to a different place, but the characters are lovely in their own way. I can't tell which version is better, I like both.
can someone pls tell me if it's a happy or sad ending when they watch the last ep ?? i am so hesitant to watch…
It's a happy ending! I liked the show very much. It's very cute and colourful and full of humour. It isn't as dark and sexy as you would expect from a vampire drama, the development is very slow and it doesn't have much kisses or adult scenes. Please don't be disappointed if it's different than other vampire dramas, as I think it's the strong point at the same time.
Actually no. If you watch the behind the scene on youtube, they wear nude coloured underwear and then they blurred it, so we think they are nude under the blur.
Hey, all of you that actually enjoy this, have you watched I Will Knock You? Its the same director and has the…
Thank you! I watched it now and I can see some similarities between the characters! And I was happy to see 2 female actors again! I will knock you isn't as slow in the story as 1000 years, but I prefer 1000 years, just because it's more fluffy.
