i also saw it. I think they have changed bcz as i remember eventhough how much he ran he couldnt catch her.
Tht part was beautifully explained in the novel🤧🤧

at tht time it was after she was put in the prison after inserting 6 nails and he was angry with her. as i remember it was, out of spite he chose YBC and he looked at YXW to see her reaction in the face bt it was not wt he expected. He wanted her to be angry and have regret bt instead she let a sigh and was smiling. tht was the moment she let go of even the slighest hope she had towards him and jump from the tower.
Im not exactly sure bt this is how i can vaguely remember. Correct me if im wrong.

Tht scene was my most fav scene in the novel. TTJ got to know she gave him her left eye. After she died he started feeling something he havent felt. so in the right eye he had the most cold expression bt in the left eye he was crying..

tht scene is definitely gonna be the most heartbreaking scene and i really need to watch it bcz of the novel. Eventhough i visualized how it might be when reading the novel i was eagerly waiting for this... bcz tht is the moment where YXW let everything go and totally cut off all the relationsships they were binded with after TTJ chose YBC to be saved. 🤧🤧my poor YXW she hoped TTJ would chose her bt he didnt.

YXW will save YBC from demons and instead of her she gets caught. then XL goes after YXW to save her. After she is saved he carries her on his back. Before TTJ put a puppet spell on YXW and at tht moment he activates it she unsheathe a dagger and stab him in his heart. SInce she will be the culprit if he dies there he consoles YXW saying that hes okay after taking a pill or something i guess. After he hurriedly goes to the battlefield and dies there. He went to the battlefield as a coverup bcz no one will suspect if he dies there. YXW becomes even more heartbroken bcz TTJ used her.

yh... he makes her his concubine. As i remember TTJ asks for her in the novel. And in the novel she plots against YXW while she is a concubine and thts how YXW ends up in the prison bt i think they have changed tht part. im not sure bcz i cant exactly remember the novel since its a long time

right... the drama is already heartbreaking and if they didnt have this 40 eps rule and followed the novel throughout the drama it would have been even more heart wrenching. but they could have divided the drama into 2 parts like others. why did they try to squeeze everything into 40

ikr... i was also wandering where tht part went. sad that they excluded it. bt reasonable since they have to limit to 40eps bt its almost like they cut off a main character... dang it. who the hell introduced this 40ep thing bcz we r gonna have a looooonnnnng conversation😡😡😒😒

right... everyone is telling its is quick paced bt its not. it is just every scene is new and lots of things are told that we do not have the time to grasp all of it. Its actually good bcz the drama will get boring if there were filler scenes.
