if they use her illness expound on her resilience and dream for cooking, then I guess it would be good. But again, if it becomes more about making the people around her suddenly feel sorry for her rather than focusing on her growth, that’s where I feel it might lose its appeal. And these could have been done without this illness trope.
But we'll see how the story develops. Maybe it would be good , so I'll continue watching for now.
This cancer sht is too unnecessary. It gives no substance to the story at all. I'll continue watching it just for the sake of finishing. But if this focuses more on the cancer and becomes a pity show then I'll just drop it

Will watch this for Jeon jeong seo. This girl can act! Still amazed by her performance in Burning and The Call (on which she won the elusive baeksang best actress in film category) even after 4 years. Also love to see the return of Ji Chang Wook in a period drama.
Just finished watching. Casts' visuals and the production budget carried this series so much. Wtf even is the last episode?? Everyone became kind all of a sudden😭😭. I've seen way better revenge dramas with a tenth of the budget. Still worth to watch if ur looking for something to pass time
