Jae Won is a good looking guy but when Jin Hee referred to “idol” good looks I was like ….I don't know about…
He isn't eye candy but definitely easy on the eyes. Acting? Well only seen him in The Glory (still can't finish that drama) and here. There's not much going on here but his subtle stare at JH gives me butterflies.
People who left comments here, on this site, knew 100% their comments won't change the storyline but they still…
I watch 90% of dramas on legal platform. It can get quite expensive though with all the paid subscription. The 10% consist of Thai drama (the ones that are fansub bc there's no other choice). I don't have VIU, is it a good investment? I have MangoTV, Tencent, iQiyi, Hulu+livetv, Netflix, Disney+, Youtube (no ads), Countryroll, Viki, Primevideo (it comes with my my prime account but am a paid subscriber to Starz and Eros), Youku, Peacock, and Max.
you are so right I feel like the stabbing was inevitable karma for her! I feel like jinhee will blame herself…
I just finally finished the rest of ep10, looks like the last 2 episode will deal with Jin Hong's family. I just need Eun Mi to shut her mouth a bit and let Jin Hee express her feelings. She didn't asked to be born, her mother did not disclose her existence to her paternal side of the family and everyone is trying to dictate how she should feel!
Eun Mi is flawed, I get it but I don't need to see it in every episode consuming 80% of the time. And it goes no where.
I had to pause in the middle of ep10 because I am ready to stab Eun Mi myself. She needs to shut her mouth. It is up to Jin Hee and Jin Hong to make their own decision regarding how they go about their father-daughter relationship, she needs to butt out. Like I said the more I get to know her character, I dislike her even more. That little flashback of little JH using her lipstick bc she failed as a mother to provide her with crayon but could afford her so call damn expensive lipstick. And then she makes little JH stay out of the house as punishment. Yadiyadiyadi yes I said I get it but at the same time it is frustrating to see Eun Mi comsume more than half the episode pissing like a little 5 year old.
This drama is lucky to have Soo Young because I love her to pieces and the only reason that I'm still watching this trainwreck. They need to remove romance and comedy tag because this has 0 of that.
The aunt showing more interest makes Park Jin Hong even more of a loser! I have no clue to why he is attracted to Eun Mi and vice versa.
Just finished episode 1. So far, I'm disappointed. I expected changes but not to this extent. Their first lifetime was probably the longest in the novel so that is probably why the writer and director did not follow the timeline from the novel.
The only way to enjoy this drama is to leave the novel behind but then again that's very reason why I am watching.
Eye candy is top notch. As much as I do not like Chao Yue as an actress, she's fortunate that I find her adorable and very pretty. Other than that, she has nothing to offer but looks. As for improvements, she has improved a little but not very much. But I expext her to be at least decent after so many project she has done as lead. By the way, she is a terrible singer too.
Yu Xi isn't that bad of an actor and he is easy on the eyes.
The more I see of Eun Mi, the more I dislike her. I don't even feel bad for her, she was hopping from one relationship to another. Eun Mi may have missed out on her "university life" but the one who really missed out is Jin Hee. The fear of being abandon is just as traumatizing as being abused. Jin Hee says she became a cop because her education (police academy) will be fully funded, it will guaranteed her a job and she gets a pension to retired. Basically not be a burden to her so call mother.
This would have been comedy gold if it had focused on the Jin Hong's awkwardness of being a family after 30 years. And I'm pissed at Eun Mi during that unplanned family vacation.
It's not something I will rewatch but I definitely enjoyed the drama and wished it was cut down to 30 episode. Very thought provoking even though I was not satisfied with the outcome. Wished ML's brother had completely deminished from his life like how he cut all ties from his uncle and aunt.
If only they didn't keep the same name as the novel, or said that it was adapted from my favorite author Ding…
Right, I think that's what most people dislike because it strays from the original. Xuxu's characteristic is essential to why it is title When a Snail Falls in Love.
That was my biggest fear from the trailer. I'll still give this one a chance tomorrow but I'm not holding my breath. What…
I don't think this is a bad show. But like you said, it won't be When a Snail Falls in Love. I just finished 2 episode and I have come to the conclusions of not liking Vita. Vita does not have an ounce of Xuxu's personality (both novel and cdrama), quirks, and IQ. Bie is no Wang Kai but he is pretty decent as Ji Bai.
I'm all about character buildup but I felt it was a very cheap tactic. Yoon Shi Yoon as Kang Ho is too animated and unbelievable especiallyhis facial expression. I have seen his previous work before and granted he is a good actor but not in the top tier level. It's honestly difficult to watch through the entire series.
I am not mad over the ending, I am disappointed how the writer executed towards the ending. It was very well shoved in our face like we were supposed to just accept it because they tell us so.
The only ending that made sense was QY to the very end had still not acknowledged her birth mother. That scene was quite satisfying.

Not even 30 minutes into the first episode, the FL is already annoying and very out of character. She's supposed to be a genius for goodness sake!
