can anybody tell me if this is/will be sad?? not like the casual development/climax angst that almost every show has, i mean like, general heaviness or particularly sad shit. feel free to spoil a bit if you need to, idm. thanks!
whilst i love our dating sim the filmography and story of uls is more appealing to me. not to mention that imo…
it's not stupid at all dw!! things like that affect me too which is why i'd rec trying to avoid reading reviews and stuff by those you don't know, sort of like living in your own bubble? what matters most is your enjoyment of the show!
not to be that person but how is the rating here higher than on our dating simno hate to all the unintentional…
whilst i love our dating sim the filmography and story of uls is more appealing to me. not to mention that imo the quality is overall higher. again i love ods and the leads' chemistry but for me uls is better. either way the ratings on mdl are whack as hell so don't take them to heart!
astco is an ongoing korean bl, titled in full, A Shoulder to Cry On! i recommend it! there will be some heavier themes in it but from what i can tell they will have cute moments and good chemistry!
im not sure why people are claiming there are no new scenes in the movie when in especially the second half there are loads. it focuses a lot more on their emotions and psychological state thanks to the added scenes. we also get to see more of them being sweet together. whilst the film is smoother and more explanatory i will still call it mediocre for south korea's bl productions so far. it's a decent watch with some good dialogue, especially between youngwoo and his father. speaking of, for me, youngwoo carries this film. the actor is great and his character is definitely the best out of the cast imo. i also don't really find it confusing like others say but maybe that's just me. overall give it a shot if you have time to spare. it's not great but there's some good in it.
except for the first 2 eps that were more of an info dump it was much better than the 1st season! they focused on world building which was cool + carried things steadily with the short time they had. also sehyun and yeonwoo had great chemistry i wish they'd be together :(
ah i usually don't really like historical romance dramas but this was so so good! it was charming and light and the leads were so cute together ^^ it was never too heavy and overall it had many funny moments too, even if a couple were a bit dated. loved it
personally i think it lacks soul. it feels dry, forced and though the plot idea is interesting it's executed in a way that feels sloppy and amateurish. the romance between the leads feels incredibly off, and i usually settle for almost anything. on top of that, i personally find the fl to be irritating so that doesn't help with the fact she and the ml's process of falling in love doesn't hit. though that could be because one moment she's cursing him out and the next she says i love you. same goes for gon and his supposed love for her. i do think the cast is good though, pretty solid. woo do hwan played two characters who are so different really well and lee jung jin was a great villain! something i'm curious about is if they wanted us to think jo yeong was in love with lee gon. the way they kept framing things was kind of sus and actually looking back on it i wish they'd confirmed it, even if they wouldn't obviously end up together, because it would add another layer to his character and somehow it makes sense to me?? anyway, this show had a cool idea and good cast, but the writing was iffy and the romance was just weird and nonsensical to me. i hope others who watch it enjoy it though!
went in with no expectations and came out pleasantly surprised. there's an underlying semblance to doctor strange which i think is cool. so far i'll keep looking forward to future episodes!
If you seriously thought YEH is masculine in this drama, then you should realize what a fantastic actress she…
pedophilia and homosexuality have no correlation whatsoever. if anything the ml seemed gay because she did a good job of portraying herself as masculine and that grossed out your homophobic self.
as someone with adhd i lose focus very quickly and easily; however, whilst the film was (purposely) slow to give that sense of patience and waiting, it gripped me emotionally to the point that i hardly looked away from the screen. a good performance all around, with a realistic storyline and characters. the ending is a bit open, which i tend to dislike, but i took it as an indication of positive times to come so i'm satisfied. a heavy watch, but worthwhile i would say.
It doesn't need to be deep, its need to be with some value, maybe honesty, maybe more real, maybe funny, maybe…
can't really understand what you're trying to say but if you're insinuating i haven't watched western queer media i'd like you to know that i have. we all have our own preferences and taste when it comes to entertainment but i don't understand having such hatred towards a simple web drama. genuinely, it's not that deep. just remove it from your list, move on to something else and let others enjoy it in peace. have a good day/night and stay safe!! /gen
