ok so I watched the 1st movie 3-4 days back and since I was anticipating this one bcos of Han Hyo Joo, but this movies just became a huge disappointment and waste of time and everything the producers & and the entire team must have put in, also it potentially ruin the 1st movie as well so don't watch it if you like the first movie and are satisfied with it. Netflix essentially picks up all the good stuff and puts in all efforts possible to make a vastly degraded 2nd season/part of it ... I'm not even surprised edit : the moment I realised that this was going to be a sequel (in continuation) for the 1st movie and not a different story, I knew I was going to be disappointed
he has a cameo, and if I tell you here what role it was, it will be a very huge spoiler
I'd say if you want to watch for the storyline it's better to watch SOOD, yeah it's a bit more confusing than ATCY, but it conveys all the feelings the makers/writer wants to convey, but if you don't watch dramas other than k-dramas then you can go for it (ATCY) since it's a k drama, but for me it was severely underwhelming and the leads don't have any chemistry at all (no hate to AHS & JYB)
the drama is okayish for me. as someone who decided to watch the og 'someday or one day' just 3 weeks before this aired and completed it barely 15 days before this aired and now that I've watched this as well, i can tell you that my opinion varies from a lot of people (both who have and haven't watched someday or one day)
most of the parts stayed as it is for the drama but some were altered and tweaked and even completely removed which affected the quality a lot, like the past scenes of the couple were shown in the first 2 episodes to establish a feeling of relatibility to later develop it into a feeling of melancholia and a sense of loss in SOOD, but since they removed it in ATCY, the sense of loss one should feel alongside the FL was lost and that ruined the meloncholic effect of the story, secondly they changed the real KYJ's story to make it more tragic or less tragic (depends on how you perceive it) but that didn't really affected the story. I just wish they had shown more of HJH & KYJ 's relationship (the past at both times of the story) and it would've have worked wonders for ATCY just as it did for SOOD.
coming to the leads, there was no chemistry b/w them whatsoever (I've loved both AHS & JYB in their works which I've seen and to some extent their individual acts were decent enough ) but still nothing was at par to SOOD among the leads, it left a sense of wanting more from such a long awaited drama for me ....
with the ending they played a but safe as all k -dramas do, they kept it very kdrama-ish open ending (well I liked the SOOD ending for MCs better and ATCY ending for second couple better) my only advise will be either watch only SOOD or only ATCY otherwise you'll just feel incomplete & underwhelmed. as always Netflix subtitles were sooo horrendous.
can Someone explain to me why on Disney+ there are 7 episodes of 45-50 minutes each ?
there'll total be 20 episodes, from what i know and have heard of, in the first week they released 7 episodes and going forward it'll be 2 episodes every week and most probably the finale week will end with 3 episodes!! (& ig the general length of the episodes is 45 to 50 mins each)
I have just started season 1 and came to check out reviews for both the seasons! I'm not quite sure what you mean…
I don't watch shows where men are degraded, i watch shows where men support their women in their career and general life, where they don't force them to choose the relationship over their ambitions!!!
I have just started season 1 and came to check out reviews for both the seasons! I'm not quite sure what you mean…
Well you don't really understand the concept of feminism, ts not about uplifting women, it's about equality ing both the genders be it a man or a woman, if a man wants to something unconventional, it's about uplifting them as well. Honestly if someone can't support your career ambitions, what's the point of that relationship? The person comprising their career will always feel suffocated in that kind of a relationship!! Even when men stay away for their jobs women support them(my dad himself stays away for the entire week for his job) so why can't it be expected the same from men?! Money isn't the matter here, no one wants to be financially constrained by another person in today's world!!
I wouldn't have taken her back. She dumped him and abandoned him after all they went through to be together in…
I have just started season 1 and came to check out reviews for both the seasons! I'm not quite sure what you mean with your statement 'What is a career?' there is a thing called financial independence and self respect which come from a career for a woman in today's world!! No one wants to owe anyone anything, and at times it can become a means for a man to have control over a woman. I'm pretty sure that either you are a guy or are a very backward minded person who's super obsessed with the thought that women should lie under men, and should only focus on their relationship/marital life and family, we live in freaking 21st century, it's normal for a woman to aspire for her dreams and career, a career doesn't always mean money, it means a sense of accomplishment in life, you really need someone to tell you that! (Also stop watching too many weird and old shows/dramas where women are weak)
I'm having mixed feelings about this...So, irrespective of the cast, has anyone read the webtoon? Was it any good?…
I've been reading the section for a very long time though it's still ongoing but is one of my favourites so I do have a lot of expectations from the drama
