only made me think now but i think its becos her dad died after he had an accident at work. the company paid the mom saying its not the company's responsibility that he died on that accident becos he's only doing part time job. The owner never said sorry to the mom. its also the reason why kang joo eun wanted to become a lawyer. it was shown on episode 7 as a flashback.
And in terms of the grandma, her real child was young ho's mom (who's dead) which makes the dad the son-in-law which means she doesn't have any relation to the 2nd wife (young ho's stepmom). kinda get where the grandma is coming from.
Kinda scared to watch this <.< Chinese modern romance dramas tend to be cliche to the extreme.
Not on this. No cliche romance or anything, in fact you'll always expect the romance between the leads cos they rarely show it as the main focus of the drama is the crime

Its awkward how they kissed and pretended that it was nothing showing no emotion whatsoever but i find the awkwardness cute tho. And i think that was jin yan's first kiss as far as i could remembe it slipped out of his tongue when his sister ask him if he kissed her and said something that he didn't give away his kiss until last night if I remember correctly

Honestly love the story but the only flaw i could find is the chemistry between the leads, i find them very boring to be honest. Normally i fan girl on the leads but this drama is a different story probly becos of the annoying screaming and face of hwang jung eum :/ i was looking forward more on the plot.though ji sung was amazing. I love all his personalities especially shin se gi ang yo na. How i was cha do yeon had the personality of se gi. Yo na and oh ri on!! Hilarious!!!
Love everything about this. it's very refreshing,funny and romantic. the ending was pretty decent as well. And i think in today's generation of actresses', i think park bo young is the best kisser of them all, better than the mature actresses tbh. thumbs up
