Ok. I finally watched the last 6 episodes and…well, I think there just may be a Season 3. There is way too much to cover in 2 episodes.
As far as the last 6 episodes, I wanted to hit the snooze button on at least three out of five episodes. I did fall asleep on a few and didn’t bother to rewind too much. The whole episode dedicated to the doctor and his wife was a total waste. I think it just highlighted what an ass the Dr. truly is. He and A Mi deserve each other.
As for the rest, I really hope that the professors’s wife moves on because the whole scene with the daughter and her asking what she would do if he came back makes me think she will forgive him for her son’s sake. The wedding was postponed so anything can happen now. The ex is back and starting to paying attention Ga Bin so he is slowing creeping back into her life. It would be refreshing to see her drop the professor. As for the lawyer’s wife. I like how she got revenge on her husband and the parents in the worst way but I see that her intentions toward the engineer are purely for money purposes and I just can’t get behind it. I also don’t feel like the engineer like her in return. He is just trying to be nice to her during a time of need.
In short, my hate for the mistresses is balanced between A Mi and Ga Bin. I am growing suspicious of the Song Won. She seems kind but I think there is something else there that I missed in the last episodes. How is she that nice? I really think something is bound to happen with her.
My final thoughts, if there is not a third season, I hope that the writer does not attempt to throw a bunch of things in the last two episodes. There are so many unfinished issues like the following:
1. What is up with the bad nose job Aunt? 2. What is going on with creepy grandpa ghost? 3. What is going on with A Mi’s dad, didn’t he fall off a horse? 4. Who ends up with the engineer and who ends up with the hot younger brother? 5. Do the mistresses get what they deserve? 6. Does creepy grandma who is lusting after her step-son get found out about?
I managed to not watch it for two weeks. But I plan to watch all six episodes this weekend. Can’t wait! I kept myself busy by watching Taxi Driver, The King’s Face and 38 Task Force. But, I am close to the end of all three dramas. It was hard to stay away but it’s harder to wait for the next episode in this drama.
Does anyone know why Song Won’s ex-in laws are young or if she wasn’t being truthful based on the following…
Good point. I am going to try to stop guessing because I have a funny feeling as the show progresses, there will be quite a few “didn’t see that coming” moments.

Wow. It is a drama not real life. I think you need to cool yourself down. There is no need to wish bad karma on someone based off of their opinion on a tv show. Perhaps you are too invested in the show.
I get that. But so far they have played a very little role in the drama. They must have some part because they are in every episode of the drama. I just wonder where it will be revealed.
Based on the last episodes, he is convinced that Ga Bin is addicted to him but she is moving on with her wedding plans without a care in site. I would love to see Nam Ga Bin get conflicted over the younger brother if he makes a move on her. I really dislike her out of all the mistresses for breaking up a family. She is the worst to me because she even tries convince the ex-wife to embrace her and the professor so that she can appease her guilt. Yuk, I would have slapped her to next year with her actions. Personally, I “don’t want to see or meet you anymore means, stay away if you know what is best for you. “. In my professional opinion, the ex-wife should tell the whole world through her video and writing tataics. Expose Ga Bin for a person in sheep’s Jordan and run because ex-wife is coming for her.
This drama had me questioning my logic of watching through the entire 16 episodes. I wanted to watch but I was also worried that the ending would have me heartbroken. Well, the ending is tragic but it well worth the watch. The ML delivers. His eyes speak a thousand words in one yester but he still has the ability to maintain several other looks that throw you off. I love the plot of the kdrama because it makes you love/hate/love/pity the ML. He had a life that no one should wish for yet he endured it all. Then to only find out…….No spoilers in this review.
The FL is cute but I feel like a lot of the misunderstanding could have been resolved by simple communication. Plus she doesn’t come around until something intense happens to the ML. Her brother is a piece of work, however. He says he cares but he does some unspeakable things to his “sister” to try to resolve the situation.
Overall, I am sad that I slept on this drama. It was engaging and I found myself invested in the characters and hoping for a good outcome for the “good villagers”. I would need to watch it again to appreciate the storyline because some parts I jut was bored and skipped.
I agree. But I think the hotel scene was set up to show how the doctor is such a good manipulator and smooth talker to his wife. The one think I don’t understand is why the wives are hesitant to be intimate with their husbands in the first place. I found it weird that the professor’s wife did want to stay overnight at a hotel in Season 1. The doctor’s wife was hesitant to sleep in the hotel in this season and she rebuked his advances on multiple occasions. Not that is a good excuse for him mess around on her.
The show is getting a little better but I still think it is moving too slow. I want to know more about the brothers because they show up in every episode but only for a short time.
Can anyone explain the purpose of the two brothers? They appear in every episode. Where do they fit into the story outside of the younger one being Nam Ga Bin’s ex.

Nam Ga Bin willingly tore a family apart and has plans to marry the man she tore away from his family but I don’t see anything about that here. Ah Mi, is willingly dating a married man and asking him leave his family for her.
Look, I don’t agree with any of the husbands or mistresses for their terrible choices but I feel like Song Won doesn’t deserve all the hate in this drama. The lawyer’s wife in my opinion, is big bully. She treated her husband like trash while expecting him to treat her like a queen. She even threw away her in-laws side dishes because she doesn’t eat it. Not even caring that her husband wanted to eat his mom’s cooking. She beat him up in front of his parents (by the way, that would never happen to me, my mom and dad would have slapped her into next month). I feel the least sorry for Hye Ryung because she only cared about herself and her character was a selfish wife.
Nam Ga Bin, while appearing to be sweet and just a terrible person. She is not in love with the professor but is using him to get back at her ex and to have her happy ending even if it includes tearing a family apart. Same with Ah Mi.
