it's 21th century, there is no husband and wife roles in same sex relationships, there's no "wife" in m/m relationships because there's no woman in it. there's no "husband" in wlw relationships. i got so angry right now lol.

i dropped it after ep4 and this is my type of show. i found it boring, and - controversial, i know, i didn't see any chemistry between the leads

agreed. they were frustrated, angry, and aggressive, nothing sexy or hot in it. but two hot guys doing a steamy scene is aesthetically pleasing and fans want to see it no matter the context. there was nothing romantic in the scene but i'm not surprised OP misread it, they got used to watching series where such behaviour is romanticized. well, thankfully, that's not the case here

Sci fi is banned/highly censored. Time traveling, aliens, supernatural beings, body swapping, zombies... From now on when you watch similar content know that the writers had to do something to pass the censorship, to make it realistic. Which was in this case the novel. Just ignore last 10 minutes and you're good

This is the first time i watched Steven and i liked what I saw :)

i don't usually enjoy cdramas they are too cliche and predictable and i dropped many, but this one was really fun. iirc there's only one cliche scene but they are acknowledging it lol. chemistry between leads is insane and kisses are REALLY nice if you care about that :)
my 2nd fave cdrama is the romance of tiger and rose and i think it's time for a rewatch.

I don't remember which drama it was, i never watched it, but i got a clip recommend on youtube. The title was something like "from brother to lover" and was added "they are not related" lol. I assume many thought the clip was about incest lol
