I assume high rating is due to the main leads' chemistry, or at least that was in my case.
I'm aware the story is extremely lacking, often doesn't make sense and is problematic but i rated it high because it made me happy. I voted solely based on my emotions and fondness towards characters and not the script's quality :)

you are right, mostly women no matter their sexuality (i'm one but i don't care about it). i think that's due to fanfiction culture, they need to know who does what for their explicit stories lol.

wasn't it a day? the couch happened late at night; tomorrow morning SY's father comes and finds SD naked on the couch; both SY's dad and SD leave; we get the bar scene; SD goes to SY and calls an ambulance; SD takes care of SY; and they sleep together. yep, it's one day :) i'm okay with what we got :) oh, it seems that sam's shower scene was deleted and people are not happy. i saw the clip on instagram (i occasionally check that one too, i use the app only for that)

yes, it is a really unpopular opinion, REALLY unpopular. people have the issue with consent, saying a drunk person cannot consent. if we were talking about a person who is about to blackout then yes, but SD was far from it. he knew what he was doing and he knew it very well, in fact he initiated. they say SY should have refused him.
we agreed on that, tv show and films aren't there to educate us, they portray life and this is life and drunk people do have sex. huh, sjws, you know the term. i've been blocked on this site many times for having this opinion, apparently i support r*p* culture (i'm censoring the word just in case, i don't my post reported again).

you are way too impatient! it's literally been a day since the couch scene! and SY spent that whole day feeling unwell. let them have a little softness, i enjoyed the morning scene especially after all that angst. if i got the trailer right SD will be moving in with SY, there will be time.

btw, i stopped watching BLs 5 years ago, i watched maybe 6 or 7. i didn't like the acting, writing and kissing scenes (straight actors really thought they would get terminal illness if they kiss properly). it seems that things have changed. some good drama to recommend? i assume you'll recommend me i told sunset about you. i tried that one but i didn't like tae he got on my nerves pretty fast (i watched 3 episodes). i'm also one of three people who didn't saw chemistry between them. so other then that i'm open for other recommendation :)

People who stand by him would do the same if he was a victim. They would stand by him either way because he's a celebrity.
You know what is the most interesting part? All of these users are women, they defend him because he's a hot man. I can guarantee you that if it was a woman instead of jisoo these same women would trash call her and call her names. They wouldn't even have the same stance on the matter.

It's interesting how you feel for a 13 yo bully but not for 13 yo victims who were bullied by him. while he was living his best life, those kids, now adults, were going through tough times and therapy and trying to somehow live their life. i thought so too. if SD didn't throw up and messed up his suit why would he be naked? when he looked under the blanket to see if he was wearing underwear i couldn't read his reaction; was he wearing it or not? i don't know. but then yesterday we got a scene where they were joking about it, i again couldn't read the scene. i'm leaning more to yes than no. i really think this is an important question and i'm not satisfied we don't know the answer.

i assume that the swimming pool scene represents SD internal frustration but i don't know why it was added after the make out session is possible sex.

with that one i actually don't have issues. SY wasn't feeling well the previous day and they'd just made up. there's plenty of time for that :D they obviously had sex before. i don't know if this was said; i watched a video with a chinese girl explaining that the scene in the kitchen. SD is cooking to SY and SY is telling him that he will cook him fried rice when he's back from the us and then they start laughing, well, fried rice in slang means sex lol. and even if we didn't get that scene they look like a sexual couple, their sexual chemistry in s02e01 alone is telling.

i didn't sexually harass, humiliated, stole money or bullied anyone nor did i urinated in a school's trash can. but your fave did. if you support him then maybe you should ask yourself what kind of person you are.

i like your theory on his father and the us trip, after everything we learned about him it wouldn't be surprising if that actually happened. but i find it funny that he knew everything about sd except for sd owning the company. lazy writing.

thank you, now it makes sense. the moral of the story is to not believe anything shu yi's dad says. which is disappointing, i did like his character, i thought he didn't oppose to their relationship because he was homophobic but because it was a class issue. i'm sad ngl :)

now i'm confused. in ep3 shu yi's dad said shu yi asked for a leave to travel to the us to visit shi de, which means shu yi's dad must have known about shi de, and now in ep4 bing wei said shu yi's dad found out about shi de after shi you came backed from the us.

Again, mr queen had it too and the show wasn't cancelled or got cut, all 20 episode were aired as planned.
