This has more drama, a ML who is confused and not perfect, FL who is not confident, assertive etc. The cute romantic scenes are near to non existent in the first half. In a nut shell way way different from normal fluffy romantic comedies and Eternal Love. As for me am loving this version loads. The chemistry of the leads is awesome even without being lovey dovey. Do give it a go.

Yes loving that about Dylan too, he's more a friend who seems to be helping her and even Xiyi than an out right rival right now.

Watched epi 17-18 and loved it. am loving this version more and more and it is there on top with my favourite Taiwanese version.

What am loving about this version is the growth, changes in character are happening from the beginning in both the FL & ML. More then anything else am loving the whole communication taking place between all the characters, be it the FL with her friend, her mom, Nainai, Dylan, the aunt and how she has started opening up to our ML too, am loving that loads from their talk in epi 16 to their talk in 17.

Both the leads have awesome chemistry but their acting in each scene is wonderful too. We can feel their feelings, thoughts , dilemma. Really loving Laing Jie and Xing Zhao Lin' s acting am impressed, they both have improved loads.

Oh from her directly and indirectly telling him shes falling for him to him trying to justify why he cares to him wanting her to find a boyfriend to being happy if she doesn't with "Wouldn't it be great if you don't find one"!!!??!! Dylan made him think too with why doesn't he see he's the one who gets jealous.

Oh and can I kill Anson and his blabbering mouth, and couldn't he see that was wrapped up so it was a present meant for the hero???!!!!

Overall loving it and the wait for Tuesday is going to be a killer.

Like you Taiwanese version is my favorite too, but this one seems to joining that spot. Have watched the Korean, they dragged it too much with over dramatic stuff and Thai I dropped half way. Japanese haven't watched at all.
Yes the leads do share awesome chemistry this is their third time working together , the first being The Eternal Love series 1 & 2 with 3rd just began shooting.

If one goes according to the trailers I guess after 23-24 epi becsuse Anna comes back in the 20 epi I think...so..around 2-3 epis after that is my guess.

What an epi 15 & 16 have been. They were heart wrenching episodes. Jaixin's mother's pain on finding out the truth about her daughter's marriage, her letter to her son-in-law and last trusting in her daughter's choice that all will be right in their marriage.

The best part was our hero Wang Xiyi finally realising that he was not treating Jaixin right from the start. Her choice of being a mom on her own terms taken sway from her. Best part was when Jaixin talked really taljed with him about the divorce, her right as the mom, etc that really got to me. It even hit Xiyi hard as he was made to understand her pain; that was so beautifully done.

God when Anna comes all hell will break lose and the pain and heart break will be gut wrenching for sure.

Really enjoying this version the most. The bestest version ever its turning out to be. Great acting by all.

Agree with everything you have said do far. Here and below. Have you watched epi 15-16, the best epis so far because in that he realise that its not been fair to Jaixin and loved them talking about the divorce and her rights as a mother.

A loving the OST. All the songs fit perfectly to our couple, their situation and thought. Great going by whoever chose the songs for each situation.

This is turning out to be my favourite version so far. Loving the story so far and the spacing to, as it shows us viewers why the leads are falling in love with one another. Love her friend Siqi, love Dylan for being a good friend, listener and a shoulder to lean on and love love Nainai the most for encouraging our female to be more confident, independent, teaching her how to run a business and now pottery too.
Here our hero is more humane than the one in the Taiwanese one. He's not cruel and does have a conscience but he's still indecisive about facing Anna and telling her the truth or accepting his own feelings about Chen Jaixin

Blowing in the Wind made me sleepy too. Yes he is very expressive Xing Zhao Lin and bubbly too if you have watched his BTS or interviews. Happy Watching Eternal Love , hope you enjoy it.

Blowing in the Wind I dropped too after making myself watch a few epis more but the story was not interesting enough for me. You wont be disappointed with Eternal Love especially season 2

This is the third drama this pair has done. Have you watched their The Eternal Love season 1 & 2, they are awesome in it and so is the drama, and 3rd season has begun shooting with them as leads again.
