i just finished this. though i enjoyed my watch and liked it so much at first, everything just went downhill after episode 9. we could've had it all, but they ruined what could have been a masterpiece by trying to add various unnecessary plot-twists. the break up was unreasonable, day getting his eyesight back was just extremely rushed, them getting back together was again unreasonable and again rushed. also they broke up because apparently mhok felt pity for day by refusing to go to the states -which again does not make any sense to me- but day is totally fine with getting back together and not sending mhok back. anyway bad aspects aside, i enjoyed this so much. it was absolutely worth it even with all the flaws it inarguably has. it made me shed tears here and there, it warmed me up with joy and it made my heart skip a beat everytime sea was on screen. (i kinda have a thing for him)

i personally think one wouldnt be able to understand whatever's going on in this show without watching the japanese adaptation or reading the manga first because they have such a weird pace and everything happens so fast before you even get the chance to wrap your head around something another drastic event happens
