ah well i didn't explain myself very well, then again i was quite upset about it the other day. i agree with you, the rooftop scene is solid and i really loved it! but god i wish they didn't add that last bit, with tae goo's death (murder, actually). imo mo tae goo is a well-written serial killer and i feel like killing him off the way it happened didn’t live up to the value of his character. it was forced, put out there for the shock value and nothing more, which is disappointing. it’s bad writing, honestly. and considering how amazing the rooftop scene was, where the dynamics between mo tae goo, kang kwon joo and moo ji hyeok just reach the peak, and we get to see a side of tae goo we’ve never seen before; all of it was a pleasure to watch, so yeah, you could say i was taken aback a lot by the asylum scene. i admit i hated it, because mo tae goo, as an important character of this series, deserved a much more clever ending. what we got was quite nonsensical. but then again, that's just how i feel.
as for the rest, i’m okay how things ended, though it felt a bit lacking, since there are many unclear aspects — more than there should be at least — but it was alright.

i'm sad i can't give this drama 9/10. the last minutes were anti-climatic and it completely ruined what they've been building so well. i don't understand why people say that the ending was satisfying, but i guess i have other expectations when it comes to this genre. still, i enjoyed it for the most part! thank you, jae wook.

I'm curious what her reaction will be when/if she finds out what really happened with In Ho's hand. It is his…
Well, many of his actions are questionable for him to be a mere observer. From what I see, he knew In Ho would be suspected by the boys, because he told him about the place in front of that student. And that's an odd side of his behavior later developed with Seol. He prefers to influence people and watch what happens, just how he did with Yeon Gon and Seol, in the beginning. So I wouldn't say he's only observing. But I guess there's still a lot to find out about Jung and it's too early to draw conclusions. For now I have this slight disappointment thinking how much potential his character has, but how little he's being explored by the writers.

Honestly, I was really hoping there was a misunderstanding, that Jung didn't intend for that to happen, but here we stand. Just how jealous can you be to do such an awful thing to your friend? I really hope he realizes how much he's hurting others with his manipulative behavior. He's quite similar to Baek In Ha, in that way; they're both messed up, emotionally.

Indeed, his physical features are so pleasant to observe.

Is it just me or the relationship between Seol and Yoo Jung feels unbalanced? Even more after the 12th episode.…
It's not about fixing all at once, but working on pieces. And they hardly even touched any of them until now. Jung has a complicated behavior and it can't possibly work out so smoothly. It's going to take a lot, I'm curious how they're going to handle this.

Title Cheese in the Trap Spoiler
Is it just me or the relationship between Seol and Yoo Jung feels unbalanced? Even more after the 12th episode. I find it so weird how they can easily shift from frustration to cutesy. I mean, kissing and hugging shouldn't replace communication - there's so much more to talk about and to reveal about Jung. I've been waiting forever for a proper talk, but they keep dodging it and it's so unsatisfying. On the other hand, Seol and In Ho's relationship is far from lacking. It's beautiful to see how much she's changing him, but it's also sad, now that he's growing attached.

Also, this rising love triangle is slowly getting in the way now. Hopefully they will focus more on their relationship and won't fight over a girl. There's more than 'which one should get the girl'.

Sincerely waiting for more character development.

I'm almost team Shota after this episode, now that I've finally seen his sensitive side. He's getting vulnerable, unlike Aoi, who's more determined now. It's a reverse. And as you said, I don't know what to expect (?). Seems like Akari will be tempted to return to him.. but really, I can't see how they're going to pull off a satisfying ending without a mega plot-twist or something. Shota ending up with his colleague would be kind of.. boring.. out of nowhere. I'd be disappointed.

Another drama which supports the idea that selfish people don't deserve to be loved. Uh.. why's that trendy? This episode left me with a bitter aftertaste. It's getting a little old and annoying, seeing the selfish character being dumped and told "you're the worst". Ok. Let's just skip that, I bet he tends to think that way about himself too, sometimes, since he's showing clear signs of emotional instability, which leads to self-esteem issues (surprise! he looks so damn confident and intimidating, but he's probably not the same on the inside). Basically, he doesn't know how to deal with his own emotions. And he truly cherishes Akari (yeah, fight me), in his own, difficult way. She has the right to be annoyed. Obviously, Shota and Akari don't fit; they could never be the perfect match, their relationship only gives the impression of being so, unlike Akari&Aoi's, more turbulent and dynamic. We all saw it coming. From this point on, let's just hope Shota meets someone too, someone who's secretly selfish as well and can stay by his side. Can I hope for a plot twist? Don't let Nomura's acting go to waste, dumping him in a sea of cliches. He's nailing it so hard.
/silently waiting for a glimpse of Shota's backstory before I get annoyed/
As a side note, Honda Tsubasa' facial expressions are so warm. Aoi's smooth character development just proves Fukushi Sota isn't just an average actor as many would say, I'm actually digging his performance.

If you love seishun sweet story and don't mind a little bit of cliche this is the one for you. I hope the other…
Even though he did that, I don't think he should be called evil. He's just selfish. And the lack of honesty towards Akari will bring him down, once she'll find out.

The cast is insane.. The manga is surprisingly good too. I'm so looking forward to this movie.
