Was wondering if my eyes were playing tricks on me but other popular series (present and previous ones) were at 7k and below comments meanwhile AOS at 28k. Is MDL doing a clean up or smth or AoS is just talked about like on a whole lot level?

Yeahhh, not to mention the action and complex emotion required for dramatic scenes are seriously spot on. He is literal acting genius. I caught a glimpse of one of the bts for AOS and the way he was calm all the time and immediately on acting mode the moment pd says action was amazing. He is made for this, what a man!

I agree, though i love somin and her portrayal of mudeok i cant help but get curious how the original naksu will be portrayed by Go younjung. She's still a mystery in the acting industry with only one series up her name but i can see her appeal through Naksu even if she was only shown for a few minutes in AOS.

Based on the comments ive read in some forums, there are quite a number of people disappointed for the possible change in female leads for season 2. On the other hand, i am looking forward to how the story would spun to come up with that change. This show is evolving to be my best series for this 2022. Go younjung's acting capability is on high stakes here considering that Jung somin's portrayal of Mudeok is most loved by AOS lovers. Nonetheless, i will look forward to this obra maestra. I am rooting for you GYJ i know it's too mucn pressure right now but know that you are loved and supported by some of us here as well!

I agree with you. Though i love jung so min's portrayal of mudeok, i have seen go younjung in Law school which i think is her first role and she did a pretty great portraying a complex role as a victim of assault and rape. If she ever spearheads the series as female lead in season 2, i am all the more looking forward to it. Im not a fan (yet) but i hope alchemy of souls become her breakthrough. She's an undiscovered gem.
