If that's a joke, it's not funny. If it's not, then it's malicious. If it's neither, then it's a desperate call for attention, and that’s just sad really.
Stop speaking like you watch this show. This show rating is based on what people enjoy watching in this drama.be…
It's probably best not to waste time engaging this account. She’s probably just bitter the KDrama she's watching bombs in both ratings and popularity. That's what envy and bitterness do to people. lol
Finally finished watching all available episodes, and I thought: 1. Can we have more scenes from the Joseon era? 2. If that's really the villain, then it's a little anti-climatic. There's probably a twist somewhere. 3. The SFL did well with very little material given to her. The character is downright loathsome, but I would love it she were given a more compelling backstory, other than obession and jealousy. 4. 6 episidodes left, so I'm guessing all this lovey-dovey stuff is about to go up in flames soon. 5. The juxtaposition of fire and water is a nice touch. 6. And so is the use of tarot cards, in particular: the Devil, the Lovers and the World (the roulette is about to turn). These three cards, if not merely decorative elements, may have already given us clues to the story... 7. It goes without saying that if Guwon and Dohee were included in school, I would not have struggled so much with Chemistry.
All of the unaired episodes have already received ratings of 9.5–10 from 14 clowns. This is definitely embarrassing…
It IS a romcom, it's supposed to have a flimsy plot. I don't think it claims to be an autobiography or a world war epic.
I will concede that it’s ludicrous how unseen episodes are already rated so highly, but that's not exclusive to My Demon. Pretty sure it's the case for most, if not all shows, and not just on MDL. It's the case for unpublished books and coming-soon movies, too.
I was not a fan of Song Kang either. I had him pigeonholed as 'just a pretty face.' To my utter surprise (and shame), his acting in MD turns out to be pretty good.
I would hate to go down this rabbit hole, because it's misogynistic as someone here pointed out, but since we're here: if Song Kang makes people's panties wet, why did that have to twist your own panties in a bunch?
From end of 3 to end ep 6 are the best moments. Then I dislike mostly ep7,9,10 but many people are happy with.
Yeah, I’ve seen the highlights lol. Thanks to the steady supply of spoilers on social media. But I don’t mind the ‘cheesy’ scenes in My Demon. I knew coming in that this is going to be a festival of clichès and trite dialogs. (A lot of people seem to call out the cringeworthy scenes). I figured, it’s probably the baseline for all romcoms. 🤣 But there’s something about KYJ and SK’s chemistry that just begs to be watched. It draws you in like a damn force field (At least that’s how MD is to me).
I thought it showed that she is his employee only. She's a dancer. He was not romantic with her. She's the one…
I’m not opposed to the idea, it makes for a more compelling narrative PLUS it adds gravitas to Jin Gayoung’s righteous anger. Why else would she be so malicious and meddlesome?
It would be very strange for a devil to not engage himself in physical relationships… and I wouldn’t necessarily see him as ‘tainted’ in that sense either. He is a demon, the root of all evil. He should be ‘naughty’ by default. And he enjoys being the devil as ep 1 would suggest.
And yes, THAT particular car scene was hilarious. Dohee’s indignation was on the ‘location’ rather than the ‘act’ itself. I knew then there was gonna be some raunchy scenes (well raunchy by KDrama standards probably isn’t much)
I don’t wanna overthink it though. Whether he sleeps around or not, is no big deal to me.

It didn’t cross my mind earlier, but it seems entirely plausible that Guwon is sleeping with her. I suppose they cannot make that angle explicitly obvious because Korea (at least based on my observation) is a conservative society. This is still a KDrama afterall. Personally, I’ve no problem with the concept of Guwon banging her before DoHee came along. If anything, it fits perfectly into the devil narrative. Lust is afterall one of the capital sins. This type of, for lack of a better term, ‘carnal relationship’ would have given her character better purpose (instead of being a nonsensical plot decor, or however it’s called)
I like this but why is the male lead so poorly dressed? None of his clothes fit him, in fact he looks like a kid…
I think they're trying 'high fashion', or maybe the intent was to give Guwon that 'larger than life' look. He has the height and the build to pull off anything, perhaps they expiremented on something different.
But I see your point. Personally, and this is just me, I would rather see him in classic, timeless pieces. I would love it if his OOTD complements Do Hee's 'The Devil in Hermes' and be the 'Devil in sleek Armani'
And oh, in this case, OOTD means Outfit of the Devil. lol
