I agree with you. Eiji seemed like a door-mat for the most part and as you can see from my other comment I wanted him to end up with Ono-sensei.

Mio had her reasons for what she did and I can see she loved him but still she was using him till the end even when they had (?) broken-up.

Although there wasn't a love-triangle, I wanted Eiji to end up with Ono-sensei.

Surprisingly good movie despite the tropes, bad acting and low production values.

The starting 2 minutes of this drama is the best among all the dramas I've watched. Presents the carefree nature of the youth so very well.

Seriously? Plain-Jane? You're being too harsh. Despite the flaws I very much liked Minami and I don't see why the male lead wouldn't fall for her. She was much more than what you defined her as.

And, I can totally see why Shinji and Ryoko were attracted to each other though I wouldn't bother with the explanation.

If this was a K-Drama the groom who ditched the female lead would have come back later to provide us the much unneeded angst and frustration.

It is very clear from the final church scene (after the ending credits) that he didn't end up with Ryoko. It's highly implied that he is with Rumiko but it's still somewhat open to interpretations.

Sae Hyun gets the most hate and rightly so. She was the clear antagonist and the actress's bad acting and ridiculous facial expressions made it worse. But, Jung Woo and the Grandfather were no better.
