For the makjang tag, maybe they thought it won`t be makjang. LOL. I don`t think this writer can write anything that it is not makjang. LOL.

No, the description is for Eugene`s character. She is the main protagonist and she will play the good girl but she will enter the world of rich people and she will make some mistakes/questionable choices. So Yeon`s character is the villainess of the story who hates Eugene`s character and she will do everything to see her out of her way. When the synopsis tells that the heroine will become a "monster", probably intended to say that the heroine won`t recognize herself anymore (unlike the innocent person she was before being rich) but she will have a chance to redeem herself. There will be a reward for her in the end. There is a Prince Charming for her, the professor who in reality is a very rich man.

Golden Empire as Empire of Gold (2013)? I loved the drama and the writing so I will be glad if Penthouse we`ll be like that drama. I am afraid Kim Soon Ok`s style is nothing like Park Kyung Soo`s so I don`t think we`ll be a similar drama. But we shall see.

It is airing in October but they have start filming already. All three original male leads decided not to appear. Today there is a confirmation that Ha seok Jin accepted the role for MBC drama. I doubt that he will film for Penthouse too. I do not understand why they don`t announce a proper confirmation for the three female leads. They mentioned barely in another cast news (supporting cast).

I wanted to see them working together after two months of thinking about it. I thought it was a done deal. Maybe next time.
I think they resumed negotiations after the delay in filming and new situations could occure. It will be not out of ordinary if more actors will stepped down.

Another actor stepped down. He is Oh Man Seok who was playing Ha Yoon Chul. I was looking forward to see Kim So Seon and Oh Man Seok in the same storyline. I am sad. Let see who they find to reprise the role.

I am waiting for more information about Soyeon`s new role in Penthouse. It is hard to wait sometimes.

Uhm Ki Joon was cast in the role of Ju Dan Tae. We lost Shin Sung Rok but have gained another good actor, Uhm Ki Joon. I am pleased with the casting. Uhm Ki Joon will play the husband of Lee Ji ah`s character.

Shin Sung Rok stepped down from the drama because of schredules conflicts. Now that Penhouse will air in October, maybe others actors will decided to not appear. We`ll see.

There are a lot of main lead actors. It does seem to be an ensemble cast.

After 20 years So yeon will play a villainess again. This time in "Penthouse", if she will accept the offer. Fingers crossed for a good role.

One more thing. I read that they plan to make two seasons of this drama but it is not confirmed yet. It is in discussion.

Not my favorite genre but I will be happy to see Kim Soyeon on the screen again. She will play the villainess in this drama. The cast is good. I read an article that Shin Eun Kyung, Oh Man Seok, Kang Tae Oh and Kim So yeon are in talks to join the originally four actors. Let see more informations about the characters.

I think it will be normal series (16 episodes), a drama on KBS2. I like the genre and I like the best that the protagonist will be a female character so I am looking forward to this series.

I watched the long preview and I liked what I saw. There are funny moments, sorrow. I think it will be a drama with a lot of heart. I can`t wait for the drama to start.

It`s a family drama and the majority of those dramas have 50 episodes. "Mother of Mine"/ "My Prettiest Daughter in The World" has 50 episodes of 80 minutes but they are divided in half each day (so we have 100 episodes of 40 minutes).
I usually don`t wath family dramas but I will watch this drama for Kim So Yeon. Fingers crossed for a good drama. I can`t wait for the next week to see the premiere.
