The kidnapping part in the latest episode was a huge no for me. As bad as Fiat's character behaved, it doesn't justify kidnapping him. They could've definitely found another way to make him realize his feelings other than scare him to death and threat hurting his knee, that's just not the way of handling things (and very disturbing tbh). Also the way they romanticized that part, as in him confessing his feelings or whatever, just.. no. (though from my experience with thai bls, having such things romanticized is nothing new, unfortunately); The episode was already a mess from the start with the usual unnecessary jealousy and lack of communication, but after that kidnapping thing I barely found enough will to finish watching...
Probably a marketing strategy to "force" people into downloading the app, but for such a short series it might only make people lose interest... I mean, if it was one or two days difference it would be more understandable (like "watch it first in the app"), but a whole week? Idk... considering the series itself aired on a daily basis and not weekly, it kinda kills the vibe a little
I came here to say just this. He is so clueless, it’s so adorable. I thought for SURE he’d come to the correct…
Same! When he was like "I'm sure that Adachi and Kurosawa..." I was "Yess?? You're getting there! Just a little more..." and then he concluded "are working together to make me a good salesman!" and I was like "oh boy!" hahahaha
I am SO HAPPY we got this! I really love the couple and it was so nice getting this chance of seeing more of them, it really added more to the story overall. This was a really cute spin off~
Woaaaah I didn’t know that there is a original version as wel !! Looking forward to it !!
Yes, there is! The original is like 40 minutes longer. This one that we got is a edited version for commercial purposes, which is understandable since it would be harder for a larger audience (aka people who didn't knew about the movie and weren't already planning to watch) to give it a try if it was a 3 hours long movie. Yet is unfortunate since those extra minutes add more depth to their relationship. I'm really looking forward to it, I hope the international audience will have access to it!
The movie was incredible indeed, as I expected! Such a realistic and well portrayed story line. The actors were amazing as well, and the cinematography was fantastic! I do hope we'll be having access to the original version of the movie though because I'm really curious to see those extra minutes (so many scenes from the MV/trailers didn't made to the edited commercial version of the movie). From what I've heard the original version should be released in 2021, so I guess I'll just have to wait and see!
It really seems like they took a plot that could be worked on a full drama and fit into a one hour episode, to…
yeah, she never said he was dead, that why I thought they would add a flashback to that scene with her saying something "no, he isn't dead but he might not be back for a long time" or something, and then it would mean that the scenes were just edited in a way to make the viewers think Jun was dead. I think that would've made better than actually making the characters think he was dead.
It really seems like they took a plot that could be worked on a full drama and fit into a one hour episode, to the point I got myself wondering wtf was even happening. I gotta say I was really mad when they said he died, and that just felt completely unnecessary to me. But then the end came and then I was just confused af and trying to process. And I was REALLY expecting a flashback of some sort, from the Christmas night when she asked Jun's mom if he was really dead and she would've replied that he wasn't or whatever, to at least justify him suddenly showing up. Maybe it wouldn't have made sense but honestly not much from this finale did anyway. But him honestly just pretending to be dead for whole 5 YEARS??? And she just accepting that?? Like, this is not about how much the loved each other, but faking your own death is just messed up... No way someone would just accept that right away. Literally EVERYONE in that town mourned his death for 5 years, and then all of sudden he's back? As if nothing happened? Just... no, bro.

both of the eps were so funny, I really loved it!
