I read the novel with mtl, sadly there's no good translation of it and my chinese is just beginners ;( but anyways, the novel's 'true' ending are actually on the extras, zhou luo managed to get into university in beijing and nan ya surrendered but didn't get jailed got sentenced but it was suspended. zhou luo returned to their town quite frequently but he never found nanya after the whole ordeal, no news of her. After 8 years, he returned again and somehow met lin fanglu who told him she's actually in beijing too and he'd visit her from time to time to make sure she and wanwan were ok (bc he felt guilty too) Upon hearing this Zhuo Luo returned to Beijing right the next day and went to meet her when he saw Wanwan going to school, Wanwan didn't recognize him at first bc she was too little but then said she remembered his name and yaddayadda she told him where Nan Ya's new clothing store was and he went there. I'm making this long 'CUS THIS LIL GE WENT TO THE STORE AND ASKED TO TALK TO NAN YA AND WHEN THE SHOP HELPER TOLD HIM HE HAD TO MAKE AN APPOINTMENT AND ASKED WHO HE WAS HE SAID "I'M WANWAN'S DAD" (โๆๆฏๅฎๆนพ็็ธ็ธ.") KDSLFJDSKL and well there he went to meet her at her office lol with the biggest smile ever and when she saw him she smiled back and they both talked and drank tea together AND ALSO RECITED POEMS!!!! He also told her he had grown up, become older but never forgot about her. That he still loved her as much as before ๐ญ๐ญ this is very summarized (lol I swear it is) but I love this ending best than the drama one, it was still great for what it was but yeah ; v; AT LEAST LIU XUN WAS ARRESTED FOR 2 YEARS IN THE DRAMA HAHA

this was a really great show!!! got me hooked since ep 1 but now that's over I JUST HAVE A LOT OF QUESTIONS LEFT UNANSWERED?!?!?! We need a 2nd part/season asap .. Istg if they just leave if like this I'm gonna turn tables ldskfj I also think jinman's fate was pretty obvious from the beginning but it was still great anyways
what if this whole time-space traveling is just an experience where they implant chips in their heads with a whole new persona while they're bind to machines hence why they disappeared for 'years' and someone somehow felt guilty enough and wanted to 'free' her from it and simulated an accident so she could "comeback" to her "original life" and her ex is one of the persons behind it hence why he knows her story from the "other timeline" and they want her back bc they want the experiment to succeed thats why qi lian is a "virus" ??? sorry idk it's late and this just popped up in my mind haha

I don't know how to feel....I loved it until mid episode 24th, literally one of my top fave dramas of all times I loved all the little touches and moments and smooches everything was just so heartwarming (even with the [redacted] flags) only to end like that???? I understand the open ending and such and that a 2nd season has been confirmed but after all the dramas that have been cancelled for the most random reasons can we really trust anything at this point ?!?! ๐ญ๐ญ my heart hurts for the unknown now I NEED CLOSURE PLEASE ๐ญ๐ญ๐ญ
I honestly don't care if it's nothing more than bromance (and a really great one at that I mean, we're beeing fed good stuff here imo)!! Also, WuBi's "SuYu is mine" was worth a lot already, very risky and yet we got it!! it's gonna live rent free in my head for a while lol can't wait for friday's episodes ; A;
