I watched the Korean version first. I must say although I LOVE that one, I already LOVE this one way more because…
omg this comment is old but I love that even though you love the Korean ver. you can tell how great the chemistry is between Mao & Jun :'D that's something I always try and point out when people don't give this ver a try because the actors aren't as handsome ;~~;
it seriously bothers me how much he looks like Matsujun sometimes x)
omg. yes! When i was watching Ao Haru Ride there were times where I kept saying"…he reminds me of a taller, more built matsujun…" i think it's the eyebrows xD
It has been forever since I watched Nobuta and I always forget how great and simple that drama was. but Nobuta, LIFE, Stand Up! and Gokusen are my top favorite school dramas :D LIFE is more intense but still a very good drama & who doesn't love all 3 Gokusen seasons + the movie?!
I have no clue how people were able to vote for the Japanese OST..out of all of those, i loved 13 of those and wouldn't have been able to pick just one xD plus so many memories of when I watched those dramas ;~~~; feels like forever ago now lol
I've always wanted to read Koizora! :( Was hoping one day it would be translated to English so I could get a hard copy ;~~; Another great book is Aya's Diary from 1 Litre of Tears. Darn tear jerker but I seriously love it. Come back to that book from time to time ^^
does anyone happen to know the names of the instrumental music they used throughout the drama? There was one I really, really loved but can't figure out the title :(
I cannot get over how much I love II Kook! Though I haven't watched any of his works yet, him as a dad is seriously too precious :'D His laugh always gets me too. I'm so glad he decided to be on The Return Of Superman. Love finding actors through variety (:
They dont explain how did the killer escape from jail, its impossible as he dont have any accomplice or relatives…
he didn't escape from jail, he got out when the bus that was suppose to take him to jail crashed, which yeah..still doesn't explain much but given this drama is only 16 episodes and they wanted to do too much in a short amount of time so you can't expect everything to be explained in full details.
she was AMAZING in Missing You! her scenes with Jin Goo always had me in tears! i didn't realize she was in Rooftop Prince either :o but hopefully she'll be in plenty more dramas/movies as she gets older (:
Ive look everywhere and I can't find it ,except the documentary on youtube witch im watching now,if you know where…
sadly I didn't find it online, I watched it at a film festival in my city over the weekend :/ I can only say find out if your city or local cities have asian film festivals (or just film festivals in general) and see if they have this movie playing. Sorry i couldn't have been of more help :(
WATCH.
the first episode had me hooked in the first 10 minutes. no korean drama has ever done that. but I'd say hold off until more episodes are out and subbed. waiting is torture lol
honestly surprised none of the HYD songs were on this list :o
but yesssss Ikenai Taiyou, i still jam out to that song ahaha
btw to the writer, I'm sorry you were bullied while growing up :( I got into Asian music in 2004 (most of the songs i heard in the beginning were OSTs haha) and kept that fact to myself until 2009 when twitter started getting big. I'm sure you have plenty of friends now who share the same interest as you :D so thank you for sharing this! since you've seen so many dramas maybe you should make a list for each language? I'm sure you know many great OSTs (8
Niini no Koto wo Wasurenaide is a MUST SEE tearjerker. Probably one of the saddest specials (..i guess you could call it a movie) I've ever seen.
Saigo no Kizuna: Okinawa Hikisakareta Kyodai is also pretty sad, though it's a war movie, it was amazing. Sato Takeru did an amazing job with that movie
when i finish a really good drama I go catch up with my korean variety shows xD but then when that's done I go and think..man that drama I finished was so good..now what do i do? lol But lately Ive been rewatching a lot of my old favorite dramas..either I'm too lazy to start a new one or don't feel like starting a new one :(
just saying you should probably post this on the episode reviews instead of the actual drama review since this drama pretty much just started. It's best to post a review once the drama is finished :P
if stream, do you have a site? :P
