My Mister being my favourite drama, I had been waiting for Loving Strangers' release since 2023. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. I think it is inevitable that people will compare this to the original, and, to me, the original remains dear to my heart and impossible to outperform. On its own, though, this was a really good drama and the acting was simply great. I don't have much to comment on story-wise because, as I said, My Mister is my favourite drama, so, naturally, I enjoyed this one as well. I understand it's tricky for some watchers to watch a remake of a favourite work, but I would say: if you liked My Mister, you might not like this one as much, but the drama remains well-executed so you might enjoy watching this one too.

I have been in a drama slump for a while now but this one is the first I have enjoyed in a long time. I love Lu Yuxiao and she was wonderful in this. Chen Xingxu too! No need to write a long review, I simply loved everything about this drama (no wonder because I loved ‘When I Fly Towards You’ as well). Wish I could rewatch it again for the first time.

It was great to watch both of her projects at the same time (The Murky Stream and A Hundred Memories). She is truly a versatile actress. I am looking forward to her future work.
