is just too scary, I hate jumpscares, I watched during the day but still is not good enough for me to go through it, I dropped at episode 4 ( I liked Khemjira so I thought that I would like this too)
I'm on episode 11 out of 12 of Love Upon a Time, and this is the first time I've ever said this about a BL couple, but I'm honestly shocked by how weak one of the lead performances is.
The actor who plays Klao is, in my opinion, incredibly unconvincing. I just can't get into his performance. The actor who plays Phop isn't outstanding either, but he's still noticeably better.
Ironically, I think one of the best actors in the series is the one who plays Cherd, the villain. He genuinely feels unhinged when he needs to, and every emotion he portrays is believable.
Klao, on the other hand, mostly just makes strange facial expressions that don't match the emotions of the scene. Whenever everyone else is crying, he barely sheds a tear. At most, he scrunches up his face in odd ways, and it never feels genuine. Even during the romantic scenes, his expressions don't convince me that he's in love.
At first, I thought those awkward expressions were intentional because of the transmigration and that he'd gradually settle into the role. But now we're almost at the end of the story, the characters are deeply in love, and he still looks oddly disconnected. To me, he sometimes comes across like the eccentric guy every city seems to have wandering around the park rather than someone experiencing deep emotions.
I don't know if this is his acting style, but for me, it simply doesn't work.
perfection, replayed every scene of them together and already rewatched the whole thing, my standards are so high and they were the only one after goblin ( the second kdrama I watched ) in 2018, that catch me like that, the storyline is flawless, the acting out of this world, I cannot describe how much joy this couple brought to my life, my heart was racing throughout the last episode, seeing them in love made me feel soooooooo happy!!!!
loved Suzy acting, liked woobins my favorite scene from him what's the " fury of Iblis" that was perfection, I felt all the emotions, loved the storyline, LOVED my WlW representation, great ending 9/10
Sasin’s performance in the scene where he confronts Saenkaew's father is the best of his entire role in the series. His eyes, the emotion, his expressions, the way he speaks and looks — everything was conveyed through his gaze. Pin also really impressed me with her performance in the final episodes. Every tear felt real, and she still looked beautiful. She cried beautifully, with an incredible sense of naturalness. The ending of the series moved me deeply. The story had twists I wasn’t expecting at all — it was truly impressive. An excellent series.
Hmmmm I dont know if I believe that, its all too often Fan service.
Fan service is one thing, but actually assuming a real relationship is different. I only remember this happening twice in the industry: with this couple and with the one from Plus & Minus (Max & Shin). Both are from Taiwan, which is a less homophobic country. After that, they stopped working in the industry. If it were just fan service, they would have continued and taken advantage of the popularity.
